The Old Course was established 472 years ago and in 1764 had a Course change which is why Golf has 18 holes. Its the home of golf. August was established 91 years ago and The Masters only became a major 64 years ago (and that was only because Palmer and a journo said it was 😁). There isn't really any comparison.

Golf is an inclusive game, where handicaps ensure anyone can complete with anyone else, the Old Course is inclusive, Augusta is not.

I have friends that have gotten in. Simply got letters one day in the mail inviting them. That's it. No interview process. Super chill. Professional.

That is absolutely correct.....way most member owned clubs work.
