FUCKING AWESOME MAN! I had a heater that did not stayed on and the water was freezing, and after seeing this video i connected the wires on a better way and it is now working! Thank you for this, you saved me like 100 BRL (heaters are really expansive here in brazil)

Ha problem hoga. Electric shock k karan heater ka glass phat sakta hain aur fish ko v shock lag sakta hain. Aap heater ko nikal kar carefully usme se paani nika dijiye. Aur thik se waterproof seal karne k baad use lagaiye.

I have a problem with my heater. I unplugged it a few days ago because I wanted to change substrate. So I did and everything ready now but the heater just wont stay on. It keeps turning off before water temperature reaches to the adjusted temperature. I even turned it to 30 degrees celcius to see if it was malfunctioning but it stayed a few min longer on and than go back off. I continue observing and it jumped back on. Now it's set around 25 degrees celcius and I unplugged it. Gonna take a look at it tomorrow. I think it has something to do with the temperature set or there is not enough flow in the aquarium so it keeps reading its own heat and not the water temperature. What I find suspicious is that I had this problem with my previous heater thought it was broken/malfunctioning so I went to buy a new one but I see now it wasn't broken and same thing happening when I unplug my new heater. I have 50 liter tank with lots of substrate so obviously not 50 liter water and 50L p/h filter. The man at the store said there is something with these heaters you need to either set back to zero wait a little and than unplug or don't touch the temperature set and just unplug it but he didn't know what the thing was exactly. So I'm going to try to find out what this problem is.

First you make sure that your aquarium heater is leak proof after that you place inside the aquarium. You check the heater glass where cable going inside, is fully leak proof.

What did you set the temperature at the time of purchasing the heater? If you don't remember then get it set from the shopkeeper. If you have set it, please wait if the water temperature is not the same.

Is there a slight change in the temperature of the water? It is possible that the water is too cold to cut off the heater a little. How big is your tank and how many watts is your heater?

Water heat ho raha hain ki nahi. Heater ka coil heater k glass me kahi touch to nahi hain na. May be induction k karan current dikha raha ho. Aap heater ko sahi position me he lagana.

This cotton is placed for glass safety from internal hard part.

Mine cracked when it over heated and I lifted it up in the air I was about to put it in until it starts cracking dont know what to do please help😭
