Every Bengal rookie was a winner this week in my eyes 🐅WHO-DEY🐅
WR Shedrick Jackson is one of the fastest WRs In the NFL. He ran a 4.25 at his Auburn Pro day in 2023. If they can teach this guy how to track the ball better and catch they may have something great on their hands.
I’m a huge fan of the character of all these guys I have heard get interviewed! Really like the top two picks and I think Jenkins and Jackson could be our starters by next season with BJ hill staying as the third. Also that DE from Ole Miss could be a sleeper dude has a 38” vertical as a DE we got some crazy athletes! Who Dey let’s goooo!

Keep trying to tell ya that Irwin, (and now Hudson and Yoshi to a degree) no matter how much it doesn't "track" in your analysis...are all Joey B down ballot favorites. Chase is and always will be his numero Uno above all, none of those other guys I mentioned, especially Irwin, will be practice squad guys. They will dress as long as they retain their traditional effectiveness. You can take that to the bank. Yoshi prob is the most vulnerable for the PS out of them all, but if he clicks with Joe even further this season..that will be erased quickly. Zack puts around Joe whatever he has the ability to..whether PFF agrees its the right personnel decision or not. 🤷🏼💯

Kris Jenkins dad wasn’t just a football player. He was a massive NT who played for the Panthers and was a 3 time All Pro and 3x Pro Bowler. Orlando Browns dad was an All Pro offensive tackle. Ted Karras dad and grandfather were NFL offensive linemen. His grandpa was on a championship team too. They are both startibb no g offensive linemen. Last year, Devonsha Maxwell who was hurt all year last year and never got to play but the dude is the all time sack leader from the conference he played in, Travis Bell the 6’1’’ 310 nose tackle we claimed on waivers last year and Jay Tufele. It’s do or die for Tufele. So a contest between Carter, Maxwell, Davis, Bell, and Tufele. Carter and Maxwell are 3 techs the other 3 Bell, Tufele, and Davis can play 3 tech or NT.

Yea love McKinley Jackson. Despite what the pundits say I think he was a steal. There were only a couple of true nose tackle in the draft. Sweat, Jackson, and Jefferson for LSU or Maason Smith for LSU played NT a lot at LSU. I would have been happy with any of those 4. I think I liked Jackson and Smith the most though.
Yes I was also higher than most on McKinnly Jackson. When the Bengals were on the clock at 97 I said please god let them get McKinnly Jackson here because if they don’t they won’t be able to get him In the next round. I love Jackson he is a dominant nose tackle. He is the absolute perfect size for a NT at 6’2’’ 330. He is actually 6’1 1/2’’ and tested at 326 lbs. so I just round up to 6’2’’. With experts on he is 6’2’’ 325-330 pounds. At the combine he and DJ Reader were exactly the same weight. Reader was 327 and Jackson was 326. Jackson is faster than Reader also their explosion numbers were similar. Reader had a better vertical jump and Jackson had a better broad jump. Jackson had a faster 3 cone and Reader was a bit stronger with 30 reps to Jackson’s 25 on the bench press. Their RAS score was Reader 2.98 and Jackson 3.08. Pretty much ALL NTs have a similar RAS. Jackson like Reader has some explosion on tape. He gets off the ball very quickly and has the power to take on double teams and push the pocket and even create pressure himself. He is an excellent run defender. He is good at stacking and shedding and even had a 2-3 sacks every year at A&M. He and Jenkins are both just 22 they are both true seniors so they stayed in school long enough to get their college degree which I definitely respect. Both could have very easily gone pro last year. They will both still be 22 when the season starts. One turns 23 on December and the other in November. I think this is great. Someone like Fiske from Florida State I’m glad they stayed away from him because he will be 25th is season. That gives us 2 more years with these guys. They will still be young when their second cap tract rolls around

Day 1? I'd say probably N. I think he's got the potential but TI has proven to be solidly reliable and produces well when he's targeted. However, Burton's ceiling is definitely higher and he definitely has the potential to start.
That wouldn’t be a bad thing if Eric All redshirts this year. We have 4 TEs without him. We have e Giesiki, Sample, Tanner Hudson and McGloclin. They will keep 4 TEs max so All could red shirt and that would be fine.
