I finally had a chance to catch your review. The reason I put that sticker on the side of the 5.5 is I had to sharpen it and thats what I sharpened it to. When I got it this one wouldn't cut paper the 25 degrees was what they had it at so I kept it the same. The 6.5 was fine so I left it with the factory edge. That said it wasn't a big deal to me I usually resharpen most of my knives to the way I like them anyway. it's a great knife and I'm glad it worked well. I love helping you out and always will as long as I'm able Brother.

I've got this one with a red and black handle! It's great! I've been eyeing there 3 inch magnacut model hard but the blade is so thin I'm having trouble pulling the trigger. Not to many reviews of Architect on CZcams but there needs to be cause they kick ass. Thanks for all the good work sir.
Excellent knife, steel, handle and I love the concept the company uses for build. With the deep belly, drop point and nice handle it looks excellent for hunting. Great for bold slashing moves on an animal including skinning. Sharpness and edge retention also goes an awful long way. Thanks Brother! 🇺🇸 🇳🇿
Man. I can’t decide between this and a reiff F6. I know the Reiff is more money, but it has a longer handle, and I have these stupid old catchers mits for hands. Love the videos!
I had the Architect 5.5 in Magnacut and I sold it when my Reiff F6 in Magnacut showed up. Architect knives are awesome, but that Reiff F6 is something else.
Just ordered the exact same knife it shipped next day. Can’t wait to get it. I’m so excited love the video getting that thing second day air these things are shipping out. Next day is pretty sweet. Don’t have to wait forever.
The handle & the blade shape/geometry are far more important to me than the material its made of etc. It's one of the stages of constructing a knife that I pay the most attention to. I shape it some, then test it, rinse & repeat till i get it just right. Hard to get that kind of comfort in a production knife. So when they pull it off it should be mentioned for sure.

I gave my brother my old ESEE 6 FOR Christmas last year. Been looking for a knife in that size to replace it. Either the new Ontario Rat 6 or possibly this 5.5 your showing here and lastly a bk7. Those are my 3 choices.
I don't know why, but I just don't care for broad blades. I think I got so used to belt knives in that bushcraft style that those wide blade profiles feel weird to work with. Those handles are sure nice looking, I love a good comfy handle more than the edge at times.
@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors Yeah, I hear ya bro, nerve damage really changes things. I can manage some odd stuff here and there, but if it gets too thin, I just can't do it anymore. It's a fine line , like with that Tops Brakimo . That knife is right in the edge for me now, I can live with it, but I'd sure like just a hair more thickness. I still love it even with 😁 hand cramps.
