Chills man, just chills. I know all gamers have been let down by non-Sonic adaptations in the past, but The Last of Us definitely looks like the one that will work.

I 100% believe Pedro will do great as Joel, but I still would've preferred to see Hugh Jackman as the character. i mean, he's the expert on the brooding and furious kind of character that Joel is. In everything I've seen Pedro in, his characters never seemed to get that level of angry.

@@ainteasya I thought it since I saw a fan-made image comparing The Last of Us and Logan. There's also a fanmade trailer for Days of Future Past that uses clips from various games, including TLoU, and I had thought that Joel looked a LOT like Logan. that was even before the Logan film came out involving the bearded older Logan. sadly, I haven't managed to locate that fanmade trailer again. I even looked quite recently. I think it may have been taken down for whatever reason.

Wow I was pleasantly surprised to see this. I actually never played the games but the story was so well done I watched all the cinematic parts here and enjoyed essentially a great story. This is exactly what I wanted lol

I was thinking a young Eliot Page (before his transition obviously), but we'll see. It's hard to fully judge from these brief scenes. Ellie has to start vulnerable and then toughen up as they go along. I can't wait.

I dont care about the graphics really, like the clicker looked a little choppy but whatever. What I do gotta compliment them on the subtle details, like Joel's broken watch that Sarah gave him at the start of part 1. And the 2 massive towers that are leaning on eachother outside the walls. The attention to detail, the directors actually did their research and played the game

I'm excited, but cautious about this. That's mostly cause of live-action game movies in the past.
But Pedro Pascal as Joel is exciting~! Love him. And Bella Ramsey aka Lyanna Mormont from GoT is pretty bad ass! Wish they styled her hair differently so it looked more like Ellie's hair but besides that, she is going to slay it~!

Alone and forsaken by Hank Williams. It's in the game, When you're in the truck and get ambushed by the Hunters it's playing. it's also playing in the crashed truck during the combat sequence right that after when you have to kill those Hunters

@@officialnoquestion That Game Of Thrones shit was one of the worst series finales that I've ever seen to a epic show like that. They ruined all the good that was done in its previous seasons prior. HBO make class leading TV shows and GOT was their NO1 show they ever done just baffling how they ended it. Nonetheless, this show just from the casting of the leading characters they will do justice for this show hopefully.

I'm cautiously optimistic. If anybody could pull it off, the guy that made Chernobyl might be able to.
But, I experienced the first game the way I did because of things I was going through at the time. I doubt any other version (or sequel...) will effect me in quite the way that game did. I'll give Mazin the benefit of the doubt. We'll see.......

Part 1 of the game was/is so good, and I hope to see everything from part 1 in this live action. Part 2 is questionable, and I don't know how they will do it in the live action.
Part 2 was painful but keeped the character as it should be.
Both sides had their reasons so it was an extremely good end even though painful to accept

Not sure how well this is going to do. It was a great game with strong story but in the form of a show...there are plenty of zombie/apocalypse tales in this medium. I mean when you've seen one there's not generally much deviation. Zombies everywhere, people struggling, some people revert to their base natures so you have your typical human struggles. There's not really any new ground to cover fundamentally.
