      @@3dscanstore Idk, I think it could serve all the same needs for me. You even have a basemesh w/optimized UV's, and so much less cleanup is needed

    I have a question. In the folder there's an action to split the displacement into secondary and tertiary detail, but it doesnt generate the primary?

    Great Tut!This is the same UVs of Meta Human or not?

  • @MatthewsFILMs
    @MatthewsFILMs Před 2 lety +2

    Idk if this is a stupid question but what’s the difference with buying a texture map or a displacement maps if both come with the same maps for different prices?

    • @3dscanstore
      @3dscanstore  Před 2 lety +1

      Its not a stupid question at all, its slightly confusing on the site at the moment. The Standard texture maps are extracted from our lower resolution "Animation ready heads" they have about a 3rd of the level of detail you would find in the "HD heads" which is what the new HD maps are extracted from. They are a lot harder to generate then and much simpler displacements in the standard texture packs which are basically just exported maps from Zbrush.

    Hi James can we Use these Displacement Map Directly Inside the Marmoset on Same Basemesh? or these are only for taking Skin Details inside Zbrush?

    when I am taking the wrapped obj to Zbrush it is not bringing maps with itself, secondly the UVs are inverted as usual why none of these happenening to you, how it has everything suddenly

    • @3dscanstore
      @3dscanstore  Před 5 měsíci

      Zbrush does not import textures by default you need to import them yourself in the texture tab. Zbrush also flips the UVs so the easiest thing to do is to flip the texture when you import it in the texture panel :) Zbrush is weird!

    really cool! My question is what if we want to project this detail on our own topology head. Right now we are using head which is coming from the package. Waiting for your reply!

      @@3dscanstore Thanks a lot for instant reply. One more question, I have my model head which is topologized and UV'd. Now I want to get detail from scan maps(Cavity, Colour etc) to my own UV model. Any suggestions?

    hey i bought one of your displacement maps and am currently at the step where you perform the zbrush projection. After projecting, there are loads of blemishes/artifacts around the ears and eyelids. Do you know what caused this and what method(s) i could use to fix this? thx

    Thanks for the great tut and products. One thing i‘m struggling is the displacement maps in wrap4d. I can‘t import exr files into wrap. So i converted them to 32bit tifs but still not importable. 24bit tif then are importing into wrap but they look destroyed. I wana Transfer the displacement map from scan onto my mesh with texture transfer node. Can you please light me up?

    • @3dscanstore
      @3dscanstore  Před 2 lety +1

      Hey, hmm you could try using something like X Normal or marmoset to transfer the textures?

    • @psygameboy
      @psygameboy Před 2 lety

      @@3dscanstore Ah this worth a try with xnormal. Thank’s But I think i just need to figure out, how to convert them from 32bit exr to usable 16bit tif‘s.

  • @Bingbangbong28

    May I ask what is the main difference between this and texture xyz? Is the use of xnormals necessary for this workflow- as i understand that texture xyz brush workflow requires xnormals

    Hi Jamie. Have been trying to follow this wrap tut. Having problems. Using your Average Female base as Source and a Daz Female as Target in ZWrap plugin. The shape morphs to your Average Female but the Albedo map (from your free Male 8K map) does not fit it at all. I am trying to get this test to work before I purchase maps from your store. Am I messing up the "Projection" part? Thank you.

  • @rtamesis

    Why not just use ZTexTransfer, which comes with ZWrap, to transfer the texture to your sculpt after doing the wrapping?

    Any chance the UI layout for ZBrush is available for download? The link in the 2016 blog post is broken and I'm hoping you'd make it available again. Thanks for the great content! I've been using the HD heads and animation ready body scans with ZWrap and the quality is excellent.
