Outlaw Run during Moonlight Madness!!! Its all good going up the lifthill but then that drop!!! You have just a moment before being swallowed by the void. Best night ride ever!!!
SDC is a destination park. Not because it has tons of rides but because it is the best theme park outside of Disney or Universal. Plus it is a very homey experience. Very inviting like going to your grandparents house if they lived in the woods

Fire in the Hole is my favorite ride of all time, I love this park

I love Silver Dollar City, and Branson in general. It is such a great setting and great atmosphere. Many of the staff are older so I think that helps with better service. Time Traveler is my favorite Coaster due to how unique it is. If you have not tried it, the jerky stand across from Powder Keg is really good with many different flavors of jerky.

Debating going to Silver Dollar this weekend.
I have plans for going to Dollywood this weekend (hotel booked), but hurricane Ian's pathway has me nervous.
Silver Dollar is a 10 hour drive though. And I could only really squeeze in one day there with my vacation time.
So a 20 hour drive there and back, for one day in the park makes me hesitant.😬
They are very similar but I would give SDC the edge for the setting/theme and food

silver dollar is on my bucket list. if my trip gets planned right it'd be dollywood, silver dollar city, and six flags St. Louis. if i face the reality of trips it's looking like silver dollar city, six flags St. Louis, and maybe worlds of fun, but possibly not worlds of fun.
Definitely hit worlds of fun over st Louis, especially with how they've been running mamba!
@@mblaty9688 Agreed. Worlds of Fun is so much better than Six Flags St Louis. Mamba is running great now, and Prowler is elite.
lol.... you're gonna get lost no matter what. But that's what makes the theme so great. Everytime you get lost you'll find something you may have missed otherwise
That place looks great. The atmosphere reminds me very much of Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Nice video!
Worst thing about SDC- Hills
But it also has more shade thanks to literally being in the woods so the hills aren't as bad as a flat surface in the sun

SDC is my closest major park. It's one of my 2 favorite parks of all, along with Dollywood. They both combine great coasters with beautiful scenery, an incredible atmosphere, and excellent shows.
Dollywood is our go-to. How does SDC compare?
@@waspahh33 They are very comparable. They are very similar parks with similar offerings, just with SDC going all-in on the 1880s theme throughout the park. Which one you like better will come down to personal preference and when you visit. I love what parks do for Christmas, and my first Dollywood visit was for Smoky Mountain Christmas. That helped make Dollywood my favorite park of all time. I have yet to see SDC with their full Christmas event, so I'll see if it's just as good later this year.
Great vlog! I love this park! I will be going back in early November. I want to get some great night rides at this park. I love how each coaster goes out into the wilderness. It is so tough to get off-ride footage of the coasters at this park. Outlaw run is fantastic and Wild Fire might be the most scenic coaster in the country. Congrats on the new kid being born!

Been coming here my entire life. Even took a second job here this year (it's a great place for anyone to work) but I still haven't found the guts to ride Time Traveler

Thunderation is underrated. But I'm a chicken so most would say it isn't scary enough
It may not be the most thrilling, but I also think Thunderation is a great ride and underrated.

I love silver dollar city it’s my favorite park, did you by chance go on the train cause the train is iconic with it not being a “transport” ride and more like a fun experience with there being a robbery on the train

All depends on what day you’re going and we had time saver passes to help with the lines :)
Powder Keg just doesn't feel safe to me. Feels like you're actually going to fly out of it. I'm actually shocked that a child hasn't yet
