This is great but I kinda wish Night Tempo did more deep cuts or little known songs instead of the ones we all know.
I would recommend several songs from Yurie Kokubu. Also, most "idol" songs from this era won't work (Kikuchi Momoko, Matsuda Seiko, Nakamori Akina ect.) for these kinds of futuristic remixes.

The original reminds me of the view from the train in Tokyo shortly after it leaves the area around Tokyo Teleport station. This future funk is alright, I particularly like the bit toward the end with the "doo"
