Curious if you tried eclipse ? Let fire spread a bit till you reload and stuff, better with suppression, and honestly I find striker without the backpack very overrated (the backpack really makes a huge difference on it)
I put this together recently for my St. Elmo’s. That increased mag size really can make a difference!
Used this exact build during the golden bullet event and it absolutely melted enemies. Great fun seeing them run in flames all over the place! 😊
Need to try it again to see if it still works outside events.
Still works --- kind-off: seems Iron Lung got nerfed or is bugged at the moment (see my other comments).
I did find 1 improvement: use the Striker chestpiece (stacks from 100 to 200) and put 2th piece Brazos elswere. This gives a (theoretical) extra 65% weapon damage ( = 40% more then Obliterate).
Here's all the Iron Lung builds i tested with the Ninja BP:
Max dps at 0 stacks:
- 1x Heartbreaker (+15% LMG)
- 1x Contractors (Petrov) (+10% LMG + 15% handling + 8% DtA)
- 2x Lengmo (+30% LMG) ( = Lengmo vest with Obliterate -> hard to get good rolls)
- 1x Foxes (8% DoC and 30% accuracy) or Picaros (= 3 cores) or Belstone (10% AoK and 1% regen = my favorate)
Max DPS - (Striker with vest - best overall build) :
- 2x Brazos (with Picaros) = 3 cores + 50% extra mag size ( = +42 bullets)
- 3x Striker (incl. Striker vest) = 130% extra weapon damage at 200 stacks -> pairs well with the extra mag size)
More defensive build:
- 3x Umbra (incl. vest) (50CHDx2, 30RPMx2, 40% armor regen (in theory...) )
- 1x Petrov (Contractors gloves) (+10% LMG + 8%DtA)
- 1x Foxes Prayers knees (8% DoC and 30% accuracy)
All builds are viable, as long as the Iron Lung doesn't "bug-out" like it's doing as of late!
@@AlfaStation1 did you look at 4 piece striker, coyote, and contractor gloves with gunner and pulse and chemical foam?
@@danzdogSorry i did not reply sooner. I only use the "classic" 4 piece striker, coyote, and contractors for short speed-runs or in groups. Never for solo heroic as I find Memento to be way better value then the combo Striker BP / Coyote's mask.
I’ve run this with firewall and ongoing. Shreds with teams.
hmmm... ninjabike seems to work here. It doesn't work often but I'm going to try this out. My IL sits in the stash honestly and I'd like to use it.

@@nomad_7965Probably means that it's worth using in this build. I find the ninjabike very useful in PvP builds but for the majority of my PvE builds I prefer using the memento.
@@nomad_7965 most builds ninjabike kind of nerfs them and I've found there are almost always better build options.
Ninjabike works much better now then before because quite a few 2th and 3th stats got buffed. The trick is to use as many different brand-pieces as possible and not use any set-pieces. (so 1-2-2 or 1-1-1-2 with Ninja) Using 2-brand and 3-set pieces like Tux has done here is usually not optimal, but in this case it does work just fine. (exceptions confirm the rule I guess ;-) )
I got 8 builds and 5 are ninjabike based the versatility it offers with your stats is unparalleled I got a hazpro build that is also 100% pulse res AND a high CHC/CHD cause ninjabike
Rolling a irun lung with Brazos and lengmo 3 piece bonuses through ninjabike I'm interested to hear your take on it.
Having mine at 160k damage and 127 rounds per mag

@@TuxedoBandido 😪 it's an odd set to say the least. Named backpack is apparently strong as hell. But for me the centerpiece is that 30% lmg damage 3 piece bonus
Nasty
Iron Lung either bugs or was nerfed: Most times burn did NOT get applied. Tried several builds and only 1 out of 6-10 shots apply burn (needs more testing). It used to work fine 2 weeks ago. You can try yourself in the range.
Btw: if you use Memento in Summit: it does NOT regen your armor in combat when you take the 1st directive. I can understand no regen out of combat, but in combat it SHOULD regen..., or am i wrong?!?
I find this LMG to be awesome. Have not built around it yet, but as it is,i it gets the job done. Imma use this video to tweak it out for best best performance. Thanks Tuxedo.

Ongoing with status and creeping death a beast but need more mag can't figure out how to improve it
Hmm. What do you think about 3pc OD with OD chest, picaros holster Brazos knees, ninja BP? No creeping death but everything else.

The reload is painfully slow, i had the Ninja backback three piece Brazo's and three piece True Patriot giving me 80% extra in the mag think mine was 168 in the mag. its only worth running in groups, as your team will get the hollow point bullets as well.
I went back to my four piece Strikers and the Sacrifice chest piece, and the Bullet King for the Guardians global event it was wild like a feral animal with rabbies.🤣

🫡Sup, Nah, that actual reload is like 5 sec which is almost unplayable from this build and these picked over clips. I think we are only seeing the ones from the Gunner Specialization proc helping the reload...thus the different locations. More than the extra bullets we need reload or weapon handling to pull down that reload timer on this build... Guess I'm not that skilled in the open world to be running around for 5 seconds waiting for a road...I'll pass on this one. But thanks 👍

Um nah u wrong it’s a real mechanic that actually makes sense tbh they brought a lil realism especially if a LMG is shooting at me why would I wanna stay up lol or any gun for that matter so stop the crying and enjoy the game that made you simple
