After 3 months RIDING in the center and the north of Portugal, we go towards the coast. We drive 1 hour under the rain and we arrive in the small seaside village of Areia Branca. There, we meet Niki & Eva, 2 Slovenians who wish to open a guesthouse at some steps of the beach and who contacted us via Workaway to help them.
After 3 beautiful weeks at Niki and Eva's place, we are motivated to continue our road towards the South. One of Natha's favorite singers is in concert not far away in the South. I decide in a blow of poker, to contact the singer to see if he needs a cameraman for his show. The same evening he sends us an audio and Natha literally liquefies.
We discover the magnificent Shanti Space where the concert takes place. The world begins to arrive and the canopy fills gently. We live there a magic evening to discover and film Sam Garrett during a magnificent concert. Good vibes and love guaranteed. SINTRA
Our descent towards the South will lead us to discover the enchanted city of Sintra. An interlude filled with magic where we will have the chance to discover the city at sunrise, in a mystical atmosphere. We will visit Quinta de Regaleira, an imposing estate with a mansion, secret garden and endless well. We let ourselves be lulled by the good vibes of this forest, which is really not like the others.
CABO DA ROCA
With Falkor we will touch the most western point of continental Europe. It's crazy to think that everything we've experienced in the last 7 months was basically due to a simple bottle spinning on a map that pointed us to the West. Here we are at the end of this first chapter. It's up to us to write the rest and to let ourselves be carried by the encounters. We meet again in Cabo da Roca, Jef the Entertainer who had interviewed us for Roadtrip magazine.
CASCAIS
After this epic sunset, Jeff proposes to lodge us one night in his family house in Cascais. Thanks to him, we meet his dad and his friend Flore and we leave all 4 to explore Cascais by nigh! After a good night of rest at Jeff's place, we continue our road to finally pass Lisbon and arrive in the region of the Alentejo. We pass the mythical bridge of April 25th and drive to write the continuation of our adventures in the south of the country.
