The video keeps a special eye on the restoration that is in progress. See how 19th century immigrants' work is being carried on today through the miracle that is the Traditional Latin Mass.

God Bless you all for bringing St..Stanislaus Church back! You are glorifying God, honoring ancestors and bringing hope for the future. So much has been torn down in all of our lives by the secular culture especially in the last 50 years. It is time to cherish what is real, timeless and true. Our souls are crying out for what is splendid and magnificent. Our ancestors understood these needs of the human heart and soul. Thank you for helping to raise us up.

I got a link to this site from a FB group called The British Traddy trad trad Latin Mass Catholic group! It is a wonderful story of the great work the Institute of Christ the King is doing to preserve Catholic tradition. I go to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Oratory in San Jose, which is administered by the institute in a beautiful Five Wounds Portuguese National Church, and the church is still beautiful because the Portuguese would not allow it to be remuddled!

I believe the pre-1955 Holy Week liturgy is celebrated at St. Stanislaus too. Was very beautiful and would have made the saints proud. Canons Jayr and Jousseaume are excellent priests and I highly recommend all to come to a mass here.

What an inspirational video and model for some of our new, cold, modern churches that were built or remodeled in the '60s. Bringing back an environment more conducive to prayer and worship and seeing the return of young families and children are such gratifying results for this restoration of God's home. God bless all those who worked so hard and contributed so much to make this happen!

This video needs to be seen by all Catholics especially here in California
St Stanislaus is leading US back to what Catholicism is all about
As a cradle catholic I live in sadness over the loss of my devotion being taken away by Vatican II
    God bless you
At several Catholic Churches here in California When ive asked the priests if there was any chance that we could get Communion rails back
They have answered NEVER THEY WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK!
I hope they are wrong because bringing back the Latin in the mass and kneeling and receiving the Holy Eucharist on the tongue is
The essence of the liturgy and if it doesn’t come back I sincerely believe the Catholic Church will be gone or at the least a schism will occur in America!

I don't know where you live, but there are a number of Traditional parishes in California, and the number is growing. Of course, California is a big state, and you may be far from a parish that uses the Extraordinary form, but fortunately there are churches that follow Tradition and seek to incorporate Beauty to serve Truth.

Sadly Francis has banned traditional mass of the ages saying it divides people (though was the mass for 1700 years). Not sure his motive… find an FSSP or ICKSP parish!

I am so pleased that that the beautiful tridentine alter was preserved and that the Tabernacle in in it's proper place of honor.. I weep over the stained glass that was destroyed as well as the communion rail, what beautiful craftsmanship!!!.I only pray that they have departed this life and did not have to witness that destruction. The Catholic Churches where I live don't even have the Tabernacles in The Sanctuary
Its so sad to see our Lord Figuratively & Literally put off to the side.
Plus there is no kneeling after the Lamb of God, nor when you come back from Holy Communion! They is NO TIME given to pray & contemplate the Body of Christ which you have just received!
This is deliberately done & is an evil that needs to be changed.

I’m so happy for this beautiful parish!! It’s so nice to see that people are starting to get it! The 60’s through 80’s really hurt all Christian denominations in my opinion. Badly. Historic architecture was demolished for hideous unwelcoming, and usually poorly built buildings with nothing to offer people. Even the organs had a large impact. Beautiful old romantic/symphonic style pipe organs were either modified/revoiced or thrown out for garbage 60’s-80’s neo-baroque or electronic organs that sounded thin, bright and irritating, attempting to imitate instruments of the 1600’s-1700’s but failed miserably. Once a beloved instrument that was so highly revered that even the wealthy used to install them in their homes, and many people came to church to be immersed in the sound of a beautiful symphonic organ, which really gave you the impression that god was with you in that room... then once the 60’s came, the new style of instruments and electronic organs made a joke out of it and literally irritated people so badly, they came to hate the instrument. Then the music changed and the hippie bands and guitars came. This music didn’t really suit congregational singing and hurt the church more than people realize. Thankfully, everyone is going back to the old architecture and the old music. They’re even beginning to go back to the old style of pipe organ building. It’s really a beautiful thing and I believe the church is going to make a huge comeback! Given current events, we need the church and god more than ever right now! God bless you all!

When Churches were renovated it was a sad sight. All the beauty removed, and the Churches were made to be as ugly as possible.. They called it, "According to the spirit of vatican ll" It would be great if the younger priests would restore all the sacred beauty to our Churches.
