PASSIG ISLET AQUA ECO PARK
Succesful Reopening of Passig Islet Aqua-Eco Park and Turnover Ceremonies here at Barangay Bato, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.
The Reopening program was led by Hon. Gov. Dodo Cagas, Vice Gov. Marc Cagas, and Sta. Cruz Mayor Jaime Lao together with the Barangay Bato official, Barangay Captain Marites Durano, department heads of Davao Del Sur provincial offices.
Regional Director of Department of Tourism XI Ms. Tanya Rabat-Tan and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Davao del Sur Provincial Director Ms. Delia Ayano also witnessed the program.
The 7 million project was sussesfully turn-over from DPWH Davao Del sur District to Provincial Government of Davao del Sur included the new cottages, pasalubong center, villa, mini pavillion, electricity and water supply of the resort. On January 23, 2021, Passig Islet was officially opened to the public and everyone who want to go must book first before going. Strictly enforces the minimum health protocols with the scan of DS-CCTS or QR code of province.

I remember we arrived at the area during low tide, that its impossible for the boat to float due to low water. Instead the boat man has to carry the boat up to the resort. it was funny.
