used tires for making chicken coops

hello friends ....
This time I will make a chicken coop with used car tires. Previously I made a video from motorcycle tires and now I use car tires so the size of the cage is rather large while the cage foot is made rather high so that we easily clean the dirt. For more clearly friends see the video until it runs out huh ...

I actually made one that’s similar to the one in the video. Only I used 3/4” plywood on the ends the the plywood was cut in the curve at the top. Then used pvc pipe and made a jig to heat up the pvc and bend it on the jig so the curve was right. At the bottom I used 2 - 4x4x 8 ft long nailed to the bottom of each side of my plywood and cut a door in one side of w plywood to put my chickens in. I also put 4 wheels on it that’s on levers on the sides so I can use the wheels and levers to lower and raise the coop to roll it wherever I want it at. Since it lowers to the ground there’s no bottom and the chickens use the ground inside. Every day I just move the coop to a new spot rather then having to it out. It’s very handy for small chicks especially! It’s got 3 roosts inside too!

This is a cool project. Tires could be incorporated into components for a chicken tunnel--they'd certainly support a barrel-vault ceiling of wire or netting. Thanks for the ideas!

Must be one heck of a sharp knife you got for cutting up those tires! Turned out pretty good,, especially with using all hand tools and hammer and nails. I’m lazy, I use power tools and screws! LOL

Tires can be cut with a regular serrated kitchen knife too you just have to cut it the right spot and it cuts like butter they call it the " sweet spot" .
