- Hey guys... A few videos from Bashfest 15 are on their way.... but I dad move house last week and that's held up my editing, so this is a video i filmed just before the bashfest weekend where i ran this mcd rc,ax for the 2 days in blistering heat. it did get hot a cpl of times at bashfest (everyone was suffering the same issues) but ran superbly all weekend and nothing whatsoever broke!. I did turn down my steering response after this vid as i have wayyy too much steering, which partly caused the rolls. I added camber also and one i figured it out i only rolled the car o my 1st bashfest run out.
At the end of this video the engine is getting very hot. I believe this is because both sides of the rear bumper were wedged into the rear wheels after a roll. This caused sections of the rear bumper to be literally melted off by friction of the inner rear wheels! MAD!..
I now have the 2 speed setup which i hope to install soon. ENJOY! :) - Zábava

Your carburetor needs a little cooling, your idle increases with more engine temperature but its a Hotrod!!!👍🏻👍🏻

once it got hot it cut out and then would not start ( i had gone richer b4 the run so just nipped it in a tiny amount.)
@@RCmaxxUK yeah thats why you raise the idlle and richen low end. Not lean it. Personally it sounded too lean when you adjusted it. Wouldnt want you to fry that engine 👌👌💪💪💪

I love that rig brother, i looked into for a hr last time had x out . its possible horizon drops the 5ive at least your guys company thrives with the customers , that being said 5ive became a aftermarket beast and hear to stay either way. Its only 5th scale i own and shes lonley 😆 they pulled the losi mini remember you guys over ther must. Ate them up hell losi probably made e m for you guys these i thought would be alot more money bc they're not popular here in states uk ? Maybe shipping ridiculous .

I think the tires ballooned and broke the bumper but it is really a nice car though buying it used is hard to get.

Hi mate. no... but its a thought i have considered a few times after getting into these bigger air cooled engines... they get hot at the end of the day....
@@RCmaxxUK I actually wonder if fan on the top of the body would help. Im also curious whats the temperature on them. My perfectly average zenoah g320 usually runs around 140celcius.
I never understood why we dont run fans especially w todays tech and cheddar investment in motors

The chassis looks to long for the body, doe's MCD still do different length chassis, I have version 2 and 3 and they are different lengths one was a Monster truck the other was the Baja 1000 Chevy truck until it kept breaking with the bigger CC engine's.
its the longer chassis yes.. needs it to house that engine n pipe combo ;)
@@RCmaxxUK I thought it was, I tried to find a long wheelbase body for my long chassis no luck.
A side note I found the Growler for sale on a German website rc-car-online-de, not a bad price either. I am having some major fun with my Kraken-RC KV5TT with a RCMAX GT50 engine it is pretty mental and I have not finished breaking it in so no full throttle action yet.
How much cc is this ? is it 46cc ?
