Welcome to the world of Lynyrd Skynyrd. You should listen to the studio version of this song. It was released in August 1973 on the bands 1st album called Pronounced. There is a long history to this band which was formed in 1964 under the name My Backyard. In 1969 they changed it to what it is now. Several of the original members had a high school gym coach that was always picking at them about their hair. His name was Leonard Skinner. They released 5 studio albums betweeen 1973 and 1977. The last was released October 17th 1977 called Street Survivors. 3 days later the bands tour plane crashed in Mississippi, killing 6 people including the lead vocalist Ronnie Van Zant, Guitarist Steve Gaines, and his sister backup vocalist Cassie Gaines. This band is The Southern Rock genres Gold Standard. Call Me The Breeze, Free Bird, Sweet Home Alabama just a few of many many more to enjoy. Thanks for the reaction. Glad you liked it.
@Kizzy2x there is some live with many of the originals during that time. The Knebworth Festival in 1976 and 1977 in Oakland California at another festival for starters.
