Thank you for sharing this. I didn’t grow up in a Christian home so sometimes I struggle with knowing what we should be covering. I found your explanation helpful. I’m going to add this into our family bible study.
I don’t care if my kids know the catechisms word perfect but understand what it says and why and remember the core of it!!! I remember doing question and answer stuff as a kid and I remember the core so I was ok with catechisms!!! My teenagers do the same catechisms that under their age but I thought it still be awesome for them!!! I have his homeschool book but not yet read it!!! My teenagers are doing awesome with one that is under their age but I think for them they can go deeper!!! This looks awesome!!! We don’t like the KJV but that wouldn’t put me off!!! My kids have read the KJV tho!!! We are going thru sequence one and use their catechisms and we love the Flashcards!!! My teens have put the file on their iPads and go thru it themselves!!!
I don’t typically use KJV either but it’s been ok - I have my kids use their own Bibles for the copy work 🙌🏻. And yes, definitely read his homeschool book if you have a chance! Great idea to use the iPads!
