Totally agree that the suit case is a step back from the over all "gimmick" of the figure. I'm no expert in sniping, but I dont think, especially operators in gillie suits, are not carrying suit cases around. Maybe like before they go out in the field they have their rifle boxed up. But I feel like having something like a sniper pack would've been cooler. However, I'm super excited to get this figure for the kick ass camo, Blowback being my fav character, and also the gillie suit, I think, is pretty cool.
This is the first Valaverse anything that I've ever wanted. I love the camo, the one eye closed "aiming" head sculpt, and I've been looking for a 1:12 scale Remington 700/M40/M24 bolt action rifle for a while. Now I don't know if I want it or not. I don't care as much about the case, spotting scope, and ghillie suit, but I'm bummed to hear about the poor quality plastic used on the rifle. I know if I wait, it'll be sold out, and the third party prices will be crazy. But, I may have to pass. If most of the accessories are garbage, I hate to pay the super deluxe price.

Was thinking about getting this but that Case looks bad and honestly the Ghillie suit seems like it was just half realized idea. I think Gridiron did a better job with his ghillie suit, albeit with one major thing I'd change with that but that's not relevant here. Funny you mention Hit and Run because that's what I was planning on doing with this figure, making a Hit and Run from it and the Gridiron character kit. It always nice to see people actually critique Valaverse. His stuff is great and I love it, but it has issues and it seems like everyone just gives him a pass because the figures are above average.
Thanks for the honest review. I was going to go all out on the sniper kits but now Ill just do Gridiron studios. I mean Vala seems like their Great at troop building but not much else. Dude constantly brags on his product and what should be deluxe is garbage.
Good review. For the most part I like all the Action Force figures I have gotten. I am tempted on Blowback, but I don't want the Guilly Suite and sniper kit, only the basic figure. I guess this one is a pass for me unless they decide to sell the new Blowback by himself.
I was excited for this when they announced it but at $75 cdn. plus shipping etc.that goofy looking case and what is that rifle supposed to be......would rather have seen an HK 417 or a 338 or if they wanted to be different a tac 50 would've been cool but wow what a disappointment.....the suit doesn't really impress me either it looks ok but could have used a wired hood or something to give it some shape I'll probably go with the gridiron one with the "M21" but great review I was actually waiting to see what you thought your reviews are always honest and objective so I find them helpful when I'm on the fence thanks Bobby
Yeah, not sure why Valaverse didn't at least paint the Pelican-Case with camo. That at least would have been something. I have ALL the weapons Valaverse has made...and that sniper rifle blows chunks. I can already tell it would be a pain to hold and doesn't really fit the profile of highly advanced armed forces. The Gilly Suit looks like it's made of craft yarn you can get at the hobby store. My Wife once made a scarf out of material just like it. Seeing as how the new wave of figures are 99% repaints, I just sat this one out. It doesn't help that I am low on funds, so I really have to pick and chose what I get these days. However, the value on in-box Valaverse figures is fairly high.

Overly priced passing up on it I rather pick up the 60th Army infantryman from g I joe which I have at $34 I paid less for 2 fully figures than just one with pretty much what comes in box with regular figure blowback only reason it’s deluxe is the crappy suitcase and ugly suit No NoNo pass!
I wasn't able to get Blowback as I came into the line too late. Was excited about AF bringing him back in this package, but probably will pass at this price point and lack of quality accessories.

Great review. The case is a big let down. A small rifle case and a small range finder that fits in a Backpack would have been perfect. And some stitching on the ghillie suit around the head. Would make it great. I haven't got one yet.
Cool spotter scope I totally wouldn’t think that’s a weird thing to be carrying around a high security area at all! Just your average dude looking through his monocular with a rail on it
Bee was buzzing on this review LoL !! It’s unfortunate that the case doesn’t quite close there properly. The spotting scope looks to lack some detail in the lenses perhaps, some stuff in there to do with some customization. I still want to get at least a pair of these guys, maybe more later if they are still available. Good no holds barred review though, appreciated.
Great review. I wish he sold blowback separate from the ghille suit. I did get this mainly for the blowback figure and face camo. My stuff will arrive tomorrow.
solid and fair review bro the reg version looks realistic, pro, equipped, a Grunt equivalent maybe? the camo version somehow, he sends me 'army of darkness Ash' vibes, ha, ha. like some kind of nuts who has no life but to kill people, gets off on it, especially the one eye Joe head I know he s a good guy, action force... but can t help but imagine a military Storm shadow assassin type of character he gets his man no matter what.... as is, yeah, I agree, a 'hit and run' type of character, quite nicely done if a little comical he looks rather good, camo is ok, I agree that a sewing needle could cut a nicer shape if you leave a 'rope' at the neck to hook on [ I m French] rope might not be the accurate term... and yeah, more convincing than the arctic version, and also works the weapons my Punisher salivates dropping pools on the floor looking at what you call crap well, he came with a piss poor tommy gun for midgets, so pale as imitation... it s white! no joke, except on him perhaps... the bazooka is better, but I d love that stuff, it tells a lot about how you know how to get 'the good stuff' now I have more characters, I can 'borrow' at least, but I d want my guys to have their own arms, or an armoury to load them for my scenes [4] lucky you bro, lucky you! so now you know... good show bro

Watched all your reviews on this line vs others, you can tell in your voice and the words you use……. That reviewing them is like a chore not a passion. I can sense the excitement in other lines. It’s all good, other reviewers I’ve seen get so ecstatic about AF….. I’m right in the middle, enjoying the line way more than I thought! It’s so early in their inception they can only go up from here. With all the weapons they do offer it shouldn’t be an issue for any collector that the snipers are cheap feeling. The others feel great, so you can mix and match or wait for an abs version. The case, is def cumbersome. As far as the color of the troopers, who cares buy the ones you like. The green is not bad at all on the white. Bobby is still playing into a futuristic vibe. You know he’s goin to make every color as long as wallets are open. I heard him talk about what you referred to as for as light and reflection in the Artic. To me it’s just another flavor to add to this dystopian world he’s developing.
I’d rather somebody giving their honest review and opinion rather than another shill just giving gushing praise to support their products. If I bought that I’d be disappointed and unenthusiastic about it too. Having never bought a Valaverse figure after watching the reviews I cancelled my first pre-orders. I’ll stick to Classified.

Ghille suit definitely needs a wire for the hood. Without it he looks like Sigmund the Sea Monster.

This one looks like a golf course is eating him wow ,how hard would it be to finish the arms and legs on the suit ?

After some time, my best description of it would be that it looks like a toy ghillie suit lol if that makes sense

At least corps had orginal designs and ideas. Booby just reuses the same 2 figures over and over.
