I just got my own BR800c. I am learning how to use it on yards and stuff. I love the BR800c. I also have a BG86 handheld blower. If you are looking to invest into a blower and you don't have a 600 or 700 yet then get the BR 800. Decide if you want the side start or not. Only a $50 difference.

I have a SH85C Stihl handheld, trying to decide if getting the 800 backpack will save me that much more time. I'm not a commercial cutter, but I have 5 acres with a very long driveway, a big parking pad, and a pool with a large deck. It takes me 45 minutes to an hour to blow all of them off plus blowing off the mower after cutting. Do you notice that much difference in your 800 and your handheld blowers? Thanks in advance!

Been in the business for many years….have a BR600, BR700, and now the BR800X. The 800 is a total BEAST!!!!! Don’t care about the 800C features, the lighter weight of the X works for me. I added my own hip belt to my 800X, when I’m running the blower nobody tries to talk to me so starting and stopping the blower while on my back…..not necessary.

as a super tall person with back problems i made the decision to get the 800 ce due to the straps and the side start was a hude deal for me...benefit that its really powerfull and its perfect for my property so it worked out

Can we get a timed test? It seems the results were the same but perhaps the 800 did it faster. Speed would be the deciding factor to me.

Awesome review. I just got my br800 c. I haven't used it yet, but coming from a handheld blower, I'm deff gonna tell a difference. I've got 3 live Oakes on my property, and they drop year round. The hand blower does its job but takes forever on clean up. I'm excited to see how much quicker I'm able to accomplish the same task.

The event began my physical deterioration and my back troubles. The Stihl blower was made for starting up on the back so when it backfired in the middle of my right hand pull it devastated my middle back which then led to lower back issues a few years later. If it had backfired while I was starting it on the ground, it would have been no problem, I think I had a legitimate case considering how my life was changed by it, In fact I have never sued anybody but compensation would have made a huge difference with that event@@sylkelster
