Fantastic video! I'm shocked with this techniques in boxing because they are the same as Kung Fu Wing Chun's Lam sao ( horizontal forearm) and one of the several forms Bong sao (angle forearm) Each time I see this techniques in Boxing I believe more Wing Chun was originated from English Boxing. Very creative way to use this defenses. Please keep uploading more videos like this, you head & shoulders above other youtubers Thanks for share you wisdom
Looks like it takes too long to load up and connect, in a real boxing fight amateur or not, they are always moving. It would be better to stand with your shoulder square, almost like a peek a boo stance and use the right arm for the block and shot the liver shot with the left at the same time. Or with this particular set up, instead of spinning to move away the right hand, step in and parry then use the rotation to shot the liver shot. Always look to be more efficient.
He really is the best Boxing coach hands down "legendary "

I've seen the coach teach a few techniques that looked like it could've come from Wing Chun which is why I absolutely love his approach to boxing.
I was thinking the same. Glad there are fellow wing chun practitioners here too.
