What is a café racer? The concept has broadened with the entry of the high-end, high-dollar crowd. But for me, a real café racer must have at least a little bit of the gritty, rocker tradition of the early years: ton-up riding through traffic, at night, on rough, wet British asphalt, trying to get through the roundabout and back inside the steamy café before the song stops playing. A short, testosterone-poisoned dash earning you cheers and short-lived admiration when you made it, and jeers and scorn when you didn't. So a café racer can't be TOO refined. It has to be something an 18-year-old punk could at least dream of building, even though it might be far beyond his means and ability. My "top ten", which I have recorded electronically, comprises numbers 7, 8, 14, 15, 19, 23, 24, 25, 29, and 30. And still, Racer, even with my principle as a guide, the choice -- as you promised -- was difficult. When I was recording my ten votes, I was struck by the wildly differing numbers of "llikes" for each machine, which means that others chose much differently. This, Racer, is testimony to the quality of your work. You have assembled a group of 30 bikes of absolutely impeccable quality and style: so good, in fact, that only minor issues of personal taste or prejudice separate the "winners" from the "losers". You have broadened our horizons and refined our appreciation for this creative genre: that of the café racer motorcycle -- and its offshoots. And that makes us all winners. It maybe my age but nothing says Cafe Racer project like the early 4 cylinder Japers, CB's, Z'ds and GS's I guess its the cradle frame, long tanks, 4 pipe manifold and 4 open carbs ,for me it's harmony. Thank you Racer TV I'll think about my Voting.

Yo soy un gran amante de lo Retro en perfecto balanse con las nuevas tecnologias,una persona que puede encontrar ese balanse es ROLAND . Pero creo que los chicos de la Triumph numero 5. Tienen muchisimo que ofrecer en el mundo de las dos ruedas y tambien han encontrado ese balance que mencione anteriormente,simple,preciosa y perfecta maquina para disfrutar en la carretera y hacerte sentir que estas en esos años dorados de la moto. I know I am to late, but. . . In 1972 I started riding my first caferacer, a 1968 Norton Matchless. Lots of stuff was taken of to make it more light and nimble. So I have a certain look in my head, how a caferacer should look like. These are the bikes that come closest to that look. 3, 6, 8, 13, 14, 20, 23, 25, 27. With 8 and 27 my personal favorites.

2,18,24,26,25,30 Hazan did a fabulous job on the ducati and has a great technique of designing motorcycles. The triumph just gave me a feeling of joy and thrill of iom. Marco has a great imagination of collors which shows on his bike and is kool guy just because he rides his own creation to work. That just looks badass and has character of its own. Vincent is just a great cafe racer. Just the suspension takes the motorcycle to a whole new level. But im a bit disappointed that there is no oem and hazan's ironhand, why?

meow larry The picture is not showing all the bike, but from what i saw, the color combination is very good. It is discreet without being obvious. I like that. I have to admit that the bike framework and the wheels, creates some limitations with the cafe racer transformation. The exhaust seems to be more indicated for a Chopper bike. I can't say much about the back end, because it isn't visible in this picture. If you have a picture on the bike side, please send it to me. Cheers.

Goldslammers Norton is nice as is the rhine and of course the Egli, many are more street fighter class than cafe I found but all art.
#7 Honda CB550 by Raccia Motorcycles is the special 1. Nonetheless I voted for my top 10. They are all beautiful creations.

The picture is not showing all the bike, but from what i saw, the color combination is very good.
It is discreet without being obvious. I like that.
I have to admit that the bike framework and the wheels, creates some limitations with the cafe racer transformation.
The exhaust seems to be more indicated for a Chopper bike.
I can't say much about the back end, because it isn't visible in this picture.
