    Hi me again with a question
    I think that I have found another infinite mill combo but I’m not sure if it is legal. It’s similar to the Lions eye diamond, underworld breach, and brainfreeze combo.
    It involves Cormela, the Glamour thief, Goryo’s Vengeance, and Altar of dementia.
    Cormela, the Glamour Thief
    Haste
    Pay 1, tap
    : Add U, B, R to your mana pool.
    . Spend this mana only to cast instant and/or sorcery spells.
    When Cormela, Glamour Thief dies, return up to one target instant or sorcery card from your graveyard to your hand
    Goryo’s Vengeance
    Return target legendary creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield. That creature gains haste. Exile it at the beginning of the next end step.
    Splice onto Arcane
    As you cast an Arcane spell, you may reveal this card from your hand and pay its splice cost. If you do, add this card's effects to that spell.)
    Altar of Dementia
    Sacrifice a creature: Target player mills cards equal to the sacrificed creature's power.
    Start….
    You pay the one colorless mana ( a land, sol ring, etc) to activate Cormela’s ability
    Then you tap her to get one red, one black, and one blue in your mana pool
    Then you sac her to alter of dementia. Mill target player equal to Cormela’s power.
    You still have a red, a blue and a black mana in your mana pool. Right? You can only use it to cast instants or sorcery spells at this point. I stay in the same phase (Either 1st main phase, combat, or 2nd main phase) so that I don’t lose my mana or have to exile Cormela.
    Cormela goes to graveyard
    Trigger: then you return Goryo’s vengeance to your hand
    You use one black mana and one other color (red or blue) to cast Goryo's vengeance
    Return Cormela from your graveyard to play. She has haste but you do not attack with her.
    Goryo's vengeance resolves so it goes to your graveyard again.
    With the one floating Mana that you have left, which should be blue or red, use it to tap Cormela again to get the one red, one blue, and one black mana again. Then sac her to altar of dementia again
    Return Goryo's vengeance to your hand again
    Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
    If this works it’s kind of cool cause I can mill out, potentially, all my opponents in one phase of my turn. I can also mill myself if I so choose.

  • @GreatScottTheGamer
    @GreatScottTheGamer Před 6 měsíci +1

    Wish you would've run through an actual scenario once. You started with casting LED 10 times somehow, why? It would take you several loops to even have the cards in your graveyard to pay for something like that. By the time you did that, you'd not actually have enough cards left in your library or graveyard to do 10 more of anything... I run out of cards to exile to UB before I find enough storm copies of BF (and its not really close).

  • @xdavid00
    @xdavid00 Před 3 lety +6

    Would forced draw actually get around shuffle titans? The copies of Brain Freeze all resolve one at a time, so whichever copy mills the titan will put the titan trigger on the stack, and before the rest of the Brain Freeze copies resolve, there will still be cards left in that player's deck right? And can't recast Brain Freeze to get around that either, because the original Brain Freeze is still on the stack.
    Kenrith can just steal the titan with reanimate of course.
    12+13+14+15+16+17+18 is 105 btw

    • @ellieskunkz5044
      @ellieskunkz5044 Před 3 lety +1

      so i think your right about the draw not working, as kozi goes on the stack, i believe the correct approach is reanimate, however kenny can't steal. he reanimates under opponents control.

    • @cedhtv
      @cedhtv  Před 3 lety +1

      The draw works. So with a bunch of brain freeze copis on the stack kozi puts itself on top of that stack. Inrespons to the kozi trigger you force draw.

      @@cedhtv thanks for explaining Mons!

    • @Rukalin
      @Rukalin Před 3 lety +2

      @@cedhtv It only works if it's in the last three cards (or if you can make your opponent draw enough in response to it). If the titan is, let's say, the 21st card from the bottom and you have 10 brain freezes targetting the opponent left after the titan is milled, the trigger goes on top of the stack and resolves before the 10 brain freezes resolve. Then you mill another 30 cards once the graveyard's already back in the library.

    • @praetorxak5361
      @praetorxak5361 Před 3 lety

      @@cedhtv It doesn't work because it goes 3 at a time. You also cant respond to the trigger with brain freeze or force them to draw because its not likely that it will be in the bottom ~10 and because brain freeze is still on the stack and not in the graveyard. All of the copies of brain freeze go on the stack at the same time and the shuffle trigger will go on the stack while the og brain freeze is still on the stack. This doesn't work.

    • @mdlbelc
      @mdlbelc Před 3 lety +3

      @@chrispy6953 it's easy the math:
      -play the lotus petal
      -play the underworld breach
      -play brain freeze, spell count are 2, so you mill 9
      -escape petal 2 times for blue and colorless
      -escape brain freeze, spell count goes in 5, so you mill 15 cards, repeat until you escape your win condition.
      After the first, you have mana to interact.

    • @chrispy6953
      @chrispy6953 Před 3 lety

      @@mdlbelc wouldn't that give you just enough Mana to cast freeze the first time loop with no mana left over until you escape petal enough for extra mana? I see how it works now but I feel uneasy about not having that extra mana with two LED cracks in case someone tries to stop you where with petal you have 0 Mana left over and LED you have at least 4 Mana on 1st loop. Correct me if I'm wrong but I only see the extra mana coming from petal once you're in the 2nd part of storming off which yes you can interact but that 1st loop can be crucial for needing to stop someone trying to stop you.
      Also math isn't my strongest subject so after a few storm counters I need to use a calculator lol. I was great in science and biology.
      I'm totally going use my lotus petal to try out now that I learned it works with petal, but I just want to know what safety net I'll need before going off.
