I used to frequent a bar right around the corner from the club called the Lismar Lounge in the 80s. A great dive bar with bands playing in the basement. Youd see HA in there all the time. They mostly kept to themselves and were cool with you as long as you were cool with them. I remember once outside a venue called The Ritz a couple of HA bikes were parked out front. Some drunk idiot got on one of the choppers like an 8 year old kid. Grabbing the clutch and turning the throttle. We warned him to get off. He didn’t. It was brutal. Thats all im gonna say.

That’s what I miss about the old New York City and the old Philadelphia. You didn’t stick your nose in business that didn’t concern you and you kept your mouth shut. Nowadays that has changed forever. You have cameras on every corner and everywhere you possibly can whether you like it or not, everybody seems to be fine with that, and everybody has to be a hero taken their phone out and recording the slightest little minuscule fight or dust up so they can run home and post it or go to the law or just air peoples business out in general. Yet if you approach them about it or try to address them about it the first thing they do is again go for the phone recorded say they were threatened, and you’re the one in deep shit trying to confront somebody for running their mouth.
