That’s where XXXTENTACION got his from his dad
[09 April 2023] That's just what I was going to say. Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy Snr. (who was a Rastaman, apparently) named his son *Jahseh* Dwayne Ricardo, after this great song by the great Bob Marley. I am sure that Onfroy wanted his son to grow up knowing that he was a child of Jah, and to live in righteousness, the Rasta way.
But of course, we all know, it didn't turn out like that. Babylon forces - poverty, familial neglect, lack of education, and a mental illness that (it seems) he was never able to get any genuinely helpful treatment for - chewed Jahseh Onfroy up, spat him out and left him for dead by the time he was twenty years old, and he left nothing behind (besides a son, Gekyume Onfroy, who never had a chance to meet his father) except some semi-decent pop rap songs. I can't imagine a sicker, sadder, sorrier story than that.
