Unfamiliar Melody 3 [F4A Audio Roleplay]

You recently inherited a small house in a tiny town east of Orlando. Some distant cousin of your mom's left the house and its contents to you... but that means you have to take possession of everything and sort it out and see if you want to live in the house or sell it.
One of the things you found was a trove of cardboard boxes holding hundreds of cassette tapes, each labeled with dates or names. The name that pops up most frequently is Melody Dunne. There's also a stereo with a cassette player in it, so, naturally, you pick a tape at random and see what's on it.
You were intrigued by the first tapes you heard... so you continued to the next date.

It definitely feels weird to think I heard/listened/read about a similar story before, but I can't put my finger on it...
Anyway I'm enjoying the "unfamiliar melodies" very much so far ^^

That’s kind of what I try to do with all my stories, use stuff I like but remix it so you’re left with “I think I heard this once before, or maybe I only dreamed it….” 🙃
