Yes they were originally a K-hiphop group for which they were mocked( because of their looks clashing with Hiphop style) but they worked extremely hard to be where they are now..... Hence BTS is a genre itself apart from Kpop 💜

@@jmbltc I've been army since many years and all I know that they were mocked and bullied left and right in the Kpop industry for many reasons and looks were one of them.... Rapline was mocked for wearing makeup and they even rapped about it in their many songs.... So I don't know what you're talking about bestie.... But I LOVE THEM 💜

Yes, they started out as a Hip Hop group and in order to train the vocal line, the rap line had the vocal line study rap for hours literally everyday.
Fun Fact: BTS first traveled to Los Angeles in July 2014 to study Hip Hop from Warren G, Coolio and other great rap legends. They were also on a show called American Hustle Life, which was just a little bit over a year of their debut in June 2013. To make it even harder the only one who was fluent in English was RM. On top of that they had to invite people to their free concert. They even shoot a video "Boy in Luv LA version" directed by Warren G.

It would be fun to see you react to their small stage performance they did after their time spent in LA with Warren J. And Coolio. By this time they had worked their butts off in Korea and this was Bangs sorta gift to them to go to America. But that stage performance shows how after the guys (broken into 2) took different aspects of performing, beat box, dance, vocal to showcase what they learned. Its raw and not like their current polished performances, but shows the heavy rap they all did in the beginning! Congrats on your engagement!!!❤
