0:06 The Isetta was the car my grandad learned to drive in back in 1962. Once he was driving it with his father and a truck behind honked his horn and indicated that they needed to pull over. They did, got out to see what was wrong and the rear wheel (the British ones only had one wheel at the back) had actually detached. Also a few months after selling it and upgrading to a Mini they received a copy of the local newspaper and on the front cover was a photo of their car up in flames - it literally spontaneously combusted.
Evidently it was quite a car.

anyone else love how the game music almost perfectly lines up with the absolute nonsense RT is doing
Aaron Morton the way game music is made these days, is to have it “react” to whatever is happening in game, in this case, higher BPM’s when you’re driving at high speeds, orchestral highs when you make jumps, etc

the local plant No, the songs in this game don’t react to what you do in the game. They’re all real classical orchestral pieces.
@@dust133 they're based off of real music, yeah, but certain sections are skipped or repeated so that it can respond to in-game events. Not super often, but from personal experience it definitely happens.
Ethan Shaw The only thing it does is go to a certain point in the song as you finish a race. And that’s so the song doesn’t end during the post race screens. That’s it.

7:05 So, on N64 there was this formula 1 racing game, but I was pretty young and didn't know that you were meant to ever take your thumb off the accelerate button so I didn't really win many races. However I discovered two important things:
- If you pinned an AI driver against a wall for enough time the driver would forfeit and no longer count in the rankings
- AI drivers would still keep going around the track after they won, and could be made to forfeit in this state.
So I managed to do quite well in the end by doing the car equivalent of sitting on my opponents until they quit.
RT must do this lol

I also remember using a cheat to get a silver racer with enhanced stats so if it turns out it only works with that guy don't throw rocks at me.

The song that keeps playing is Zadok the Priest by Händel and the line is "God save the King!" because it's about Solomon, not the current British monarch. Everyone seems to be mishearing it as "queen" since that's what's been said for the entirety of most people's lives.

Hey RtGame, theres a game with driving, mods, and realistic destruction called BeamNG Drive, and theres a ton of maps too. It's cheap. I dont play it but I've seen many videos on it it's great fun and is very dumb

@Retendo Who doesnt? It's free-roam game with semi-accurate car physics with limitless makes and models with a decent amount of customization. Not to mention the lack of consequences of losing a single race and a functioning penalty system, unlike a certain "Real Driving Simulator" or a game that makes people pay 5 bucks for a car
@Retendo Ah sorry, the 5 buck for a car is NFS Heat. It was recently announced that EA would put the legendary McLaren F1 under a 4.99 USD paywall
Also yea, fuck the Microsoft Store. I bypassed the store by buying someone's family account for about half the price of the normal game, but with all of the DLC included. Quite illegal in the US i assume, but I'm way far from the western hemisphere
Either way, I'm looking to play Gran Tourismo too, but the recent changes in the penalty system and the somewhat lackluster list of cars is..rather scary. Especially with that price
