- In this episode recruits graduate from the 93rd New Mexico State Police Academy. They then continue on to the FTO stage until they are cleared to be on their own, protecting the state of New Mexico as a NMSP officer.
Just binge watched this whole thing . Congrats to the new officers.
What an ending!!! Congratulations 93!! I enjoyed watching your journey and wish you all success in yourfutures. Stay safe. ♡
I’m proud of these men and women just from watching this series all the way in New Jersey!!
In my opinion, it's a calling. Thank you for your service.
Can't thank you enough for this series! EXCELLENT!!! It was very well done and really gives us insight as to what they learn and how they apply what they learn. I wish them all much success in their new careers. May God protect them and keep them in his care and their Guardian Angels always be beside them - that goes for all of you across the country.
This was a very enlightening series and helpful to me personally as someone applying to the NJSP once I can pass the PQT.
Congratulations to the 93rd NMSP academy class! Stay safe and keep your head on a swivel
he was respectful, he was patient, he represented the new mexico state police as best he could, he was the best of us..
I have to hand it to the NMSP. Great series of videos.
Much respect for you all that made it through your training may god bless you all and I pray for safety for you and our great state police officers of New Mexico

Just to remind everyone of the first episode. They started with 30 recruits
CONGRATULATIONS for making it through your training STAY SAFE!!!!!
Great series, congrats!
Great job and congratulations!
Please please be safe. It’s cruel world out there. Don’t get complacent.
This made miss my academy.......semi
Wow! 16/25 graduated. Nice job 93!!!!!! Perfect job!
9 recruits were smarter than the rest of the class.
Congrats officers
Watching this video makes me sad. I discharged from the Marine Corps with an intent to join the New Mexico State Police many years ago. However, after being interviewed by Captain Bradford in Albuquerque, I received a letter from the NMSP telling me I was too short to qualify at 5’8”. It was crushing to me to say the least. Based on this BS assessment by this Bradford character, my dreams were shattered. I’m glad to see that their requirements for acceptance are based on moral character, fitness, knowledge and motivation, rather than a basic height requirement! I never even had a chance to apply. I eventually left the State because of it!
NYPD used to disqualify people if they wore glasses. Tons of departments had arbitrary requirements back in the day.
The height requirement was to disqualify women applicants. Unfortunately, the manlets had to be disqualified too. Now that any woman can apply, it makes sense that the height requirement is gone too. Everyone in this video looks like a damn hobbit. 🤣
this gives me motivation and i will soon join FHP. i am up to the challenge.
Stay safe!
CONGRATULATIONS YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!😃😂😉😁
BESAFE STAYSAFE.

I thought there were 25? They didn't show what happened.
What are the requirements
Run 100 miles in 5 minutes.
Why was the academy class so small?
Because not everyone wants to be a Police Officer here in New Mexico.
@@mreezy5284 Are they paid pretty decent? Cost of living is ridiculous in certain places, especially Artesia.
@MaskSo James Damn!!! That's it for the state? That's terrible! The state should be paying double that figure.
How soon do they hit their districts after graduation?
Right after. They are put with an FTO to show them the ropes but you are usually given your district at graduation.
Wes yes, but let’s say they graduate on a Saturday. They start on Sunday? Monday? Or does it depend on the district’s needs? Because I’m sure HR works on the recruits schedules way before graduation so they can be ready.
@@11951miguel Graduated on a Friday and started on Monday. Usually academies have their "work days" Mon-Fri so they graduate, have two days off, then report to their assigned districts that Monday. Hope this helps. :)
Wes nice! Good explanation, thank you!
@@11951miguel Of course. Stay safe and healthy :)
U fail to touch the trunk...pay attention..
I wonder how many will get fired for DWI and rape? 🤣
Try not to shoot anyone. You're not in Iraq anymore
All that training on video, and not one shot of how to interact with the public.
lol... "All that training on video" doesn't even cover 1% of what we really learn.
@@ProfessionalPilot you still don't learn enough to be competent to make legal decisions. Just another racquet.
Joey Merrell you’re absolutely wrong.
@@joeymerrell8585 Coming from someone unable to use the proper spelling of "racquet", I'm not impressed with your opinion. At least learn grade school English before trying to tell other people what they do and don't know 😂
@@ProfessionalPilot I'm so sorry your majesty. Auto correct will be severely punished. And I've been through the academy. I know exactly what is learned. And it bothers me that you have to have more training to cut hair than you do to be a cop. Make a legal determination in the field and watch an attorney swallow you whole in court.
Horrible propaganda piece but if you want to become a domestic terrorist join the American police force….
