Unless there is a genuine source of this event, its a made up story.
1. I have respect for our culture but It's illogical saying sat, treta and dvaapar yug had people with no intelligence and making machines defines who is great.
2. Saying Raavan, kumbhkarna and their allies died because they didn't know sri ram was a god ?!
No! Stupid logic.
As per valmiki ramayan raavan had his downfall due to other reason. He had earned supreme powers from supreme gods like brahma and bhagwan shiv doing tapasya for decades. Ofcourse he had the brains. Its just that as they say today, ' power has a tendency to corrupt the mind', apparently it happened with raavan aswell. He was a half demon. Having demon (राक्षस) genes from his mother. He was brilliant with knowledge of vedas and supreme occult science. Only because with power he became arrogant, ruthless towards innocents and degraded his character by violating many women (humams and celestial ones).
In such arrogance he had asked from bhagwaan brahma he shall not die at the hands of a mere human and he failed to understand what universe had in plan for him. He did not recognize his time was about to end at the hands of sri narayana in the form of sri ram.
3. With the logic given in this video, kaliyuga has many people today who dont even believe in a higher power, forget realising sri ram or such avatars as gods.
What has happened in the past couple of thousands of years and still happens today around the world, where depraved and gut wrenching acts happen in modern societies. Mindless killings and hate for no reason or an illogical brainwashed reason - that has now simply turned into a quest for power. The list is endless today.
HOW THE HELL DOES THAT MAKE KALIYUGA BETTER !!?
