MTA need to be audited before any fund or fare increases are put in. I bet you the top dogs in there are purposely choosing overprice projects; either giving it to people they know, friends, &/or family so they can secretly line their own pockets with company funds. Government/city officials need to do some investigation and not just throw tax payers money at them whenever they ask. So absurd... Also, their union workers need to be micro managed regarding their absurd amount of unauthorized OT. Some of these "track workers" make more than top surgeons...
So ridership is down and their solution is to charge more to those already suppporting by riding and paying? Gee thanks. How about make a bigger effort to bring back more of those who have stopped riding? Just a thought.
MTA is full of it. Poor service and continue to increase prices. Leave it to MTA and some of us would lose our job. The train stations are unsanitary. The buses are often late.
