Most of so called Italo disco was / is commercial GARBAGE.
Most of it was one off recordings.
What most people who are only into dance music don't understand was the influence of Punk on 1980's music. And it the influence was on most music genres of music.
That big heavy sound, and big voice is punk and soul not Italo Disco.
Her big voice was copied into infinity by in house music productions in the 1990's.

love this mix ! Used to dance and dance to this type of music in the 80's. Do dance clubs still exist like they did back then? The lights, the drinks, the skin, the clothes, the fun and the wild abandon? Spending hours getting dressed (yes for guys too) and getting your hair just right (hair sprayed and gelled to hell and back). I don't know of any real dance clubs in Atlanta any longer and we used to have one helluva party scene here! Now everyone stays at home (can't help it during the quarantine) on their computer and rather than wanting to be out with friends or bar-friends, they check out with down drugs like heroin.....Bring the 1980's back!
