Chiefs need to tag sneed, pay Jones, get a lineman and decent WR1.
lol that's gonna be tough with the salary cap. If they keep Sneed and Jones they can't afford Evans or Higgins. They'll plan on Rice being WR1 and need to find a WR2. Lockett would be a nice add once he's presumably a cap cut.
This is all very easily done. And wr1 will come for a ring without a doubt.

He's not a necessity...Jones is a 30 year old linemen who is on the wrong side of 30 years old...The defense against the Lions without Jones played just fine...The Chiefs defense played but the offense let the defense down against the Lions

What should scare the rest of the league is that Mahomes has won 2 Super Bowls without a number one receiver. Imagine if they get one next year.
This is actually why I think they should spend the money on defense, because we’ve already seen Mahomes can carry the offense when needed he just needs people on the other side of the ball to do their part.
everyone was so fixated on the WRs that they didn't even realize that Mahomes having an ELITE DEFENSE so he didn't have to score 30+ point shootouts every week to win was 100X MORE HELP TO HIM than any one WR could ever be, even one as good as Tyreek was

Chiefs only have 6 picks in the 2024 NFL Draft. Smart strategy would be to trade Sneed & receive a haul. By trading Sneed you can land a certified WR1 & replenish the O-Line. Plus, the Chiefs have great depth at DB

The Yankees haven't even made it to the finals since 2009. The Dodgers have won only once in the 21st century. In the NBA, another team won the championship for 5 years..2019 Raptors.2020 Lakers.2021 Milwaukee. 2022 Warriors. 2023 Denver Rather, in the NFL, parity seems to be disappearing because of the cap.
They need to leave the hard cap and more make it that you can only rework a players contract once until it's played out so players have a chance to actually hit the free market but also so teams actually have to face cap ramifications instead of just saying just kidding every 3 years and moving the cap hit further. If you make bad money decisions as a team or throw an insane amount of money at a player you should suffer for it at other positions down the road. Also get rid of the tag or significantly rework it so it's not as much getting screwed over as a player 95% of the time. Sometimes it's good like if Baker gets tagged but most of the time its just a team saying we want you but we don't really want to pay you to stay.

All it means is that if you want to compete, you have to draft better, hire great coaching staffs and develop your players (while they are affordable). KC couldn't do that for 50 years and the results showed. Now they can do it, and the results show. There are at least 6 new playoff teams each season, which is about half the field changing over every year. If your team can't win, then pressure them to get better instead of changing the rules. The rules are fine. The only thing that a luxury tax or removing a cap does is makes it so you can just buy talent instead of actually being a good organization.
Dallas would win its first SB after 25 years with that, Jerry Jones doesnt mind paying 600-700mil to get a ring at this point.

these people are delusional to think that the ravens or the bills are the challengers, i beleive you have to look at the qb's capable of beating mahomes, there is only 1 qb and that is joe burrow, the bengals are the only threat in the afc in my opinion.
