    Been looking at getting this for a while, but every time I decide to pull the trigger it's sold out. Sounds like it'll be worth the wait though.

    Would you say this is one of the better styling Creams that you have tried? I recently got some of Shear Revival Sea Clay styling balm. A bit similar to a styling cream. It's called.. Loyal.Not a bad product and all natural. I also like Layrite Matte Cream and have yet to get Layrite Super Shine Cream. I have really short hair so I think the Cub and Co will work well for me. BTW.. your hair looks awesome. But it always looks good.

    Do you think that Moroccanoil texture clay is good for a curtain hairstyle or should I buy something with a better hold like hanz de Funko claymation ?

    • @TDMStyle
      @TDMStyle  Před 2 lety

      I think Moroccanoil would work! You don’t need much hold for that kind of style, and I think a heavy clay like HdF would be too heavy.

    Do you have a go-to matte clay / cream pick for longer hair? I'm trying to grow mine out right now... The sides are still fairly short (barely touching my ears) but the top is pretty long. A lot of my favorite every day use clays and pastes (Shear Revival, Reuzel, etc) are just too dry and make my already thick hair too puffy when it's getting longer. They're great when my hair is short but there is just too much pull going on with them at my current length. I tried Gray Ghost (which I think is UWB) and liked it, but my hair tends to be naturally oily, and I feel like Gray Ghost and some oil based pomades I tried (including Lockhart and Baxter) just give it too much sheen and gloss. Baxter in particular leaves me with little hold as the day goes on and a high sheen. I like a dry, firm, yet pliable hold, something where it can be finger combed throughout the day and hold its form. I tried Baxter's light and hard grooming creams and found both to have no hold whatsoever - pretty much a waste of money. The hard at least worked a bit but all the light cream did was make my hair lay flat and look greasy.
    If you have any suggestions for a product that would work well for longer hair styles and remain pliable and matte without just tugging and pulling in the hair, or looking overly greasy, I'd appreciate it. I watch your videos all the time but just thought I'd ask anyway.

      Grand Classic Texture Balm has been my go-to OB clay lately for exactly this. Amazing stuff, and you only need a tiny bit.

      @@TDMStyle thanks a bunch! Unfortunately it appears they're all out of stock right now but I'll keep checking. Looks perfect.

    Love your vids my man mainly cuz I feel like I have the same texture hair as u and I’ve bought products based on your reviews such as pre game and crafted matte paste and silver fox. I just find that the products are very dry someotimes which is just kinda annoying but not the end of the world just feels scary the way it pulls my hair but what I care more about is the way my ends come out. I don’t get those sharp pointed “shard” like ends of hair. Instead they get wispy and curl and flair only at the ends. Any advice on a product that will give me those stick together pointed ends? I wanna say textured but I feel like that’s a made up word that nobody actually knows the meaning of lol. Also I don’t mind shine. Thanx!!

      For that piecier, spikier texture, you'll want something with a higher wax content, or something like an oil-based clay. Generally speaking, water-based clays and matte pastes will give you a coarse, thick strand texture, where waxier stuff will give you thinner strands with pointier ends. There are some cool products like the Flagship streamline heavy clay that's water-based, but behaves like an OB and gives that spikier texture that you're after. Some other good options for you might be some stuff like Aurora cream pomade from Lodestar, Grand Classic Texture Balm, Fuertes clay, or Summit from Templeton Tonics!

    Huh, this looks like it might be a little similar to the Stickmore Styling Cream. Gotta check out Cub and Co!

    • @TDMStyle
      @TDMStyle  Před 2 lety

      For me the Stickmore cream has a drier feel that is reminiscent of diatomaceous earth. This one is smoother at application, for my hair texture anyway. Stickmore's is insanely strong hold though!

    You are looking like a gay. Your earlier texture hairstyles were good. In fact black hairstyles suits you far better. Those were manly man styles. Anyway No hate man, just personal opinion.
