MHR Sunbreak - 25 Seconds of Every Weapon

- After my "All 14 Weapons Gameplay Showcase", I felt like the video was way too long (37mins...) so I wanted to do a shorter version. I challenged myself to showcase the maximum of each weapon within 25 seconds (more or less, give me a break lol)
14 weapons is way too much for this kind of video and I believe it would have such a better pace if we only had something like 10 weapons but what you're gonna do, I can't do a "Almost every weapon" unfortunately
Luckily for me, I still had a lot of unused clips from my previous videos so 80% of this video was already done. But even the 20% remaining were such a pain and took me forever to record so I hope you like it ahah.

You know, after this video (and the world one), I don't get the rise vs world debate anymore.
There's something about rise's flashy and quick gameplay
and world's slow methodical combat,
what's stopping us from enjoying both games as two separate greats?
Love both. My biggest gripe with Rise though is the need to collect spiritbirds lol. Got old so fast. World just eating a meal and drinking your juice you’re ready to rock.
I think the main worry to have is what they'd do for future games, rise shows a big departure from the methodical combat and puts it more into just flashy compared to the heavy feeling, weighted combat with lots of stakes and positioning the franchise had for most of it's time, I think World is already a pretty near perfect compromise of QoL, flashiness and classic MH, I want more of that, not the next game to have fighting game inputs for a cutscene super attack on the monster that ends in a big KO and a flash of sound and colors, at least that's what I personally find kinda worrying about Rise, granted I have 0 context on if they plan to continue that way or it was just a side thing
@@SerechII Rise is a portable game of the saga, all the portable MH are diferent from the main games, do not worry about the future of your MH preference, Rise is from the portable team and World is from the main line team, they always make diferent gameplay mechanics.
@@SerechII Wilds is a quite reasonable middle ground between World and Rise, I think players with both preferences will enjoy it.

As much as I adore the longsword and how extremely satisfying it is to use, it really didn't look that fun in the video on the massive contrary to how it actually feels to use. The greatsword however looked fun af, I had no idea you could perform such fluent slashes with it, all i've ever seen from greatsword gameplay was true charged slash, wirebug dash, true charged slash, wait nvm; shoulder bash, true charged slash, wirebug dash repeat.

I hope i can be even half this competent in Monster Hunter in general. The sheer thought of challenging a Flying Wyverian charging at me with a charged up Great Sword just scares me (tho i dont usually play Great Sword myself anyways).

Just drink potions when you feel like you don't have much health left

Maybe MHR Sunbreak is not the best Monster Hunter.
But its definitely the one with the best mobility when it comes to fighting in the saga
