How to Make Condensed Milk Using Powdered Milk | Homemade Condensed Milk

- When you live in Bosnia you will enjoy a lot of dairy products, milk are so cheap cheeses are everywhere homemade etc. but the only thing they don't have are evaporated milk and condensed milk. For me as a Filipino to grows up with desserts in every occasions condensed milk is a must. So no condensed milk in the market, no problem, I am making my own homemade condensed milk here in Bosnia.
HOW TO MAKE CONDENSED MILK USING POWDERED MILK
Ingredients:
2 cups powdered milk
2 cups white sugar
1cup water
Utensils needed:
blender (use the old one if you have)
pot
spatula
Procedure:
1. In a pot put the 1 cup of water and pour in the 2 cups of white regular sugar
2. Heat it up until the sugar will be dissolve. The liquid should be clear. Sugar syrup
3. Prepare your blender, if you have old blender better use it
4. Pour in the sugar syrup while its hot to the blender. Be very careful because its really hot
5. Pour in quickly the 1 cup of milk first and blend, and follow the 1 cup blend it again until you see that all the milk has dissolve. Check the liquid if it still has granules from the milk powder if so then blend it again until the liquid mixture is really smooht.
6. Pour it in a glass container and let it cool down, after it cool down cover it and you can store it in the fridge. At first the liquid is runny but when it cool down it becomes sticky same as the store bought condensed milk.
7. It can be stored inside the fridge up to 3-4 months.

yes do it at the highest speed, coz we want it done in an instant while the sugar syrup is still hot and will be mixed thoroughly with the milk powder

Wild honey can be used instead of refine cane sugar to avoid diabetes

But, if we cook the honey it will spoil the natural nutrients. kaya dapat ang Honey will not mix with hot water.

It looks a little watery to me when you were pouring it.
Will it be thicker after it cools down? Please let me know before I try it. Otherwise great video and I like the sounds of the kids in the background.

yes we decided it to be like that just in case we dont have gas then we can still continue our cooking with the electric, our gas sold here is per tank not per meter which is connected to the mainline...
If we don't want to store it in the fridge, how long it can last in a room temperature?
It doesn't last long for me the milk is like separating so i really recommend not using powdered milk
