If anything he was asking closer to £200/£250k, whilst I don't think he deserved that much, given that the likes of Smalling, Jones & Young were given new contracts, I think Herrera deserved a hefty pay rise.

one thing that is very hard to see on a youtube video is his work rate, most youtube videos usually shows a player skill with the ball, but his movements without the ball is great, he covers a lot of grounds when he is on the field. Great stamina, good passing, good control, not afraid to tackle, quick, agile and has good strength for his size, he is a complete package.

Herreras was unlucky in the sense that Manchester United fans always wanted their midfielders to be the best but Herrera as such a good team player. I think he's do really well in this current team with Antony and Martinez. That would be a team of fighters. Bruno to a lesser degree but you can see the makeup of a passionate team right there!
