Hi guys! October 2019 we planned a super simple, budget friendly backyard wedding. We DIY'd mostly all of our decorations and favors and with the help of friends and family this was the final result! This is probably the best video I've seen so far regarding a wedding budget. I haven't been able to find videos where the bride actually breaks down the cost of everything and shares their total. My fiance and I are planning a wedding under $10k and I'm doing a lot of the work myself. Your video just gave me so much motivation and inspiration. Thanks so much for sharing!!!

I love this video! Great breakdown. One tip that I have for future brides is to ALWAYS check resale shops/online resale shops for a wedding dress. I found my dress in a store but before purchasing it from the store, I decided to lookup the dress on Poshmark and got the exact dress for $25!!!

Thanks so much for reminding me of how simple I can be during this process. I do no want extravagant as me and my husband (we eloped first) are both simple people. However it is easy to get caught up in the wedding craze of having the perfect venue after waiting two years for a ceremony. I appreciate this so much.
i agree, it’s so easy to get distracted by Pinterest & wedding blogs but you’re right! sometimes the perfect venue is your own backyard & you can do SO much to personalize it & make it special for the two of you 💕

its sounds like a lot of money but in reality yeah you really did a lot to have this cost down. I paid over $1000 just to have a birthday party once at a bar so props to you.

Super helpful! Were you able to have music going thru the night? If so, did you have to get it cleared by the city/authorities since it's in a home/residential area? Where did guests park their cars? Would you mind sharing a list of your vendors (food, photo, video, dress, etc.)
Hi! We had our DJ until 11PM and didn't have to get it cleared. The music wasn't terribly loud and we notified our surrounding neighbors beforehand. The guests parked in the neighborhood across and over from us; even with 80ish guests, luckily parking wasn't so much of an issue. I have most of the vendors we used listed in the description except the food. The meat was catered by a local restaurant called Dog House Grill and the sides were catered by Texas Roadhouse. :)

thank you darling! i actually didn’t have to wash the dishes, they allowed us to return the rental dishes without doing it. all we had to do was stack them back in their crates & they washed themselves 😊

can you talk about the parking? How did you find the space for 80 people in a residential area?
also, did you have any issues with the police in regards to noice complaints?
honestly, people just parked wherever there was a spot available, we didn’t get any complaints from guests or neighbors luckily! most people came in groups in two or family’s so that’s ~40-50 cars (if that helps any). we notified our surrounding neighbors that we would be having an event beforehand so they were understanding/accommodating. after the wedding was over we had a bunch of desserts & wine left over so we passed them out to them, so that may be nice thing to do as well!

How did y’all get ready separately? I want a backyard wedding but the one thing we haven’t figured out is getting ready separately with only a barn and a 3 bedroom house
i got ready at my parents house & he got ready at home! my parents only live about 5 minutes away so it ended up working out but I’ve heard of brides renting a hotel room to get ready with their bridal party & everyone pitches in!

Because she not married by the priest she married with courthouse wedding and is nothing. Is only change the courthouse for background space and the end is the same.stupy wedding.

Plz answer me cuz I’m trying to have a backyard wedding inshallah and I’m trying to figure out everything and it’s so stressful
honestly, our music wasn't too loud but we are close with all our neighbors so they understood that we were having a wedding. :) it might be helpful just to notify your immediate neighbors to prevent any issues. the DJ ended by 11so it wasn't too late. hopefully that helps!

the round tables were from a company called “It’s My Party” & our sweetheart table was from “Expo Party Rentals” in Fresno 😊

If this is a budget friendly advisory , your budget included so many gifted things … my fiancé and I are TOTALLY on our own .. but thanks for the little tiny bit of tips you did have ..
even if something was gifted it was still a part of the ENTIRE wedding expense, regardless of who paid. it would've been inaccurate to NOT include things that were gifted cause then the entire budget would've been much less. if you went out to eat & the check was $50, but you paid $25 for your portion, the check would've still been $50, right? but thanks for watching & for your feedback! glad you got a few helpful tips from this. :)
