There are actually 3 airports in Milan: MPX (Malpensa) - mainly intercontinental flights, very big LIN (Linate) - mainly national / business flights (very close to the city center) BGY (Bergamo) - mainly low cost carriers operate there Make sure you get to the correct one 😂
I have also made the same mistake in the past. We ended up having to travel to Bergamo because that was the only airport where we good still catch a flight the next. We took the train and stayed in a hotel there. We actually really liked Bergamo so the next year we went back there to ski.

Being dairy intolerant and having gelato before a flight GIRLIE YOU IS BRAVEEE (I have a lactose intolerant sister and she is the same)
I'm lactose intolerant too and don't take it seriously. The stomach pains are only temporary 😂
