As an artist, being a "Jack of all trades" and following different interests can actually be very beneficial for your art! You learn new skills and perspectives with everything and in the end things that seemed like a distraction or detour to others may turn out to have been important stepping stones for you and it may all fuse together perfectly into your unique style and what you want to create. Being too focused and goal oriented can also block you from getting an important insight about something.
Maybe that's just me and how my brain works lol. But maybe it resonates with others as well, so I just wanted to share my experience. 😊

I'm a Sagittarius in her mid 30s, holds a PhD in chemical engineering, worked a while as a scientist and I didn't feel happy doing that. I was good at it and making good money, but I wasn't happy and it didn't fulfill me as much as I deeply craved it to. I was analytical with my life, as an engineer would do with her work. Long story short, I was involved in a car accident and that experience eventually pulled me out of the rut, so to speak. I quit the job and now I'm on a totally different path which I'm learning from zero on my own. I'm following my instincts and feels a whole lot more now and I'm happy. There have been resistance from the people close to me because they're worried I'm venturing into the unknown as it's a more creative role that I'm currently doing than analytic which I've been trained for a decade long. But I feel so innately and positively driven now compared to the uncomfortable external push that I used to feel as a scientist.

I will try and pay attention to sounds (clairaudience) but generally speaking I get it through numbers....so many angel numbers...it boarders on annoyance but I am a walking contraction due to my disorganized attachment style and constantly seek external validation but hate it at the same time lol.
