I didn't see Believer, but I've watched over 20 detailed videos breaking down that Abomination. I would vote that Exorcist: Believer is now the WORST Exorcist sequel, even beating out every version of Exorcist II: The Heretic (I've seen three different edits over the years, and they're all terrible). This is what Hollywood gets for putting the brain trust behind Pineapple Express and Your Highness the best horror franchises of all time: Halloween and now The Exorcist.

No. The movie was garbage and lacked creativity! It’s not original! And when you say “it’s not as bad” you still are saying that it’s a shit movie. Shit is shit. The movie would’ve been better had it been it’s own movie and not “related” to the original film.
