Most Nigerians students who come to Ghana school in private universities which are much more easier to enter and cheaper. In Ghana unlike other jurisdictions the government universities are more on the elite side. Well resourced, high standard which requires good grades, genuine certificates and a lot of money. Because foreigners pay in dollars and pay a lot as compared to Ghanaians. It is also highly competitive because a lot of Ghanaians as well as students from several countries all over the world compete for space in those universities. So they are not easy to enter. The government universities in Ghana are University of Cape Coast, University of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah university of science and technology, university of education Winneba, University of Mines, University of development studies, University of energy and natural resources, University of Health and Alied sciences.
