Oooh horses, thanks PJ 😊. I gather that horse riders don't access the rail trails (unlike in Australia)....but perhaps have a seperate network of bridleways? Another episode of delightful scenery. How cool was that row boat....surely worth the death defying cliff descent. How old was that castle/church in Durham? I was like wow....then you panned left and the church was staggeringly tall. Sad that the castle your great grandfather had delivered at had fallen into disrepair in such a short time.

That is awesome scenery. What a magical journey. Despite the busy roads the trip looks wonderful and you are both fit. Penelope hasn't totally lost her rowing skills Charles

Trust me Jill she was the terror of the waterway ..... steering like a drunken sailor on a 3 day bender ...... no boat nor area of riverbank was safe ..... the only saving grace was the slow progress she made ..... and the language issuing from her mouth would make Captain Blood blush.

She constantly rattles on, like a broken spoke, about how she misses rowing her yacht's tender then when we have the opportunity to replicate the experiance she doesn't want to do it. The kraken is very annoying 😒
