Kristina från Duvemåla is a musical based on Vilhelm Moberg's book Utvandrarna (The emigrants) which is four books telling the story of Kristina and her family who emigrants from Swedfen to the US for a better life. The music in the musical is written by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, two names you might recognize if you know about ABBA.
If you want to hear more music from this musical, I would recommend the song Guldet blev till sand (The gold turned to sand) in which is sung by Peter Jöback, who plays the role as Karl-Oskar, Kristina's husband.

Yes, Peter Jöback is a fenomenal singer! ...but his character is "Robert," the younger brother of Karl-Oskar, Kristina's husband. (Helen Sjöholm sings "Kristina" here.)

You know it’s good when the camera hovers over Björn and Benny from ABBA sitting up front with their mouths open. 🤪

To be fair, they did write the song 😅

Entendiste bien la canción. Es básicamente el libro bíblico de Job, cantado por una mujer campesina, emigrante sueca en un bosque de Minnesota alrededor de 1860...

You should really get yourself a nice set of headphones. Listening to laptop speakers takes a lot away from the experience.
