It's been almost 13 years I was diagnosed with naso pharyngeal carcinoma. It's not easy to undergo chemotherapy at the same time radiation therapy. Positive attitude and support system from others are important to become a survivor.

How did you managed to overcome it ? What treatments did you undergo ? Did you follow any special diet ? Sorry , not trying to badger you . I had just undergone a nose probe , CT scan and MRI . Going in on Monday for biopsy . Large tumour in nose , seems to have spread . Feeling really terrified and sad . Would appreciate any advice from ex-sufferers of nasopharyngeal carcinoma . Much thanks 🙏

@@bakkwa8705 Acceptance of the diagnosis is the first step. Having a positive attitude and faith that God is greater than my health problem helped me a lot to be able to become strong enough to face the challenges of treatment and be a survivor.I undergone radiation therapy at the sametime chemotherapy .The effect of those treatments during and even after more than 2 year of treatment made me suffer to much. If I was not really determined to win the figh, it will lead me to give up.Adherence to treatment and to oncologist' advice are important.Healthy lifestyle and abstaining from eating unhealthy foods especially those processed food with preservatives is very necessary.Preparing my own food became my habit to make sure unhealthy ingredients will be lessened.Turmeric , ginger, antioxidants from plant sources became important ingredients in my everyday recipes to boost my immune system and to minimize the discomfort of treatment .Combination of giving importance to the giver of life and to life as His precious gift and adherence to medical treatments are both important .Nowadays there is no such miraculous healing like of what Jesus did when He was on earth, it will be done in the near future .For now that we live in an imperfect world with imperfect situation, we have to do our part .God will surely help us to endure and will provide relief/help for us to find an instrument/ solution for our health problem.

On the 31st October , I went into hospital A&E for sudden nose bleed . 3 weeks later I saw the ENT specialist and had a endoscopic probe done . A large tumour was seen . The next day I had a CT scan done , results were very bad . Tomorrow I am checking into hospital for MRI . I was told after the results from MRI is out in a few days , I would be scheduled to go back to the ENT doctor who would schedule me for admission into hospital for biopsy ( have to do this under GA as I am high risk ) I am feeling terrified , until now they don’t dare to say anything .
