can i just say phum thinking about his own family when he was eating with peem's parents and friends was so relatable. he was having fun until he started thinking about it, and immediately went quiet. ive definitely been there as well, it hit hard.
my ex gf's family were super tight knit and close meanwhile i grew up alone much like phum. whenever i hung out with her family i'd feel so out of place.
i wasnt expecting to relate to phum on such a personal level in that one tiny scene this episode.
also, finally phumpeem bfs era!! its been 84 years, as you said javi i couldnt even freak out much about the asking out because the series literally ends in 2 eps and its been dragged out so much.
pondphuwin and all the other side couples are slaying though so i keep tuning in.

Phum and Peen are definitely my favorite. I loved how intimate all their scenes were, it wa slike they were falling in love behind the story because no one really knew that they were like that with each other only had ideas. They just feel quiet and intimate and private to me, like they really are each others safe zones. It strikes a cord for me because thats how i prefer my relatioships. Not that Tan and Fang loud showy relationship isn't great or Q and Toeys mix of teasing and sweet but its all personal preference! I'm so glad they show cased so many ways a couple can be happy together.

i think it's nice to see phum acting more carefree like he doesn't have to keep putting up a front all the time now that he's more comfortable and he knows he's safe with them. i'm not surprised he is feeling the contrast between their families lol but it's so sweet that they are all hanging out and having a good time and peem's family just accepts everyone with open arms ☺
15:12 honestly qtoey have been getting a bit of hate here and there recently (which lowkey surfaced after ep8-9) which i kind of brush off because preference, but i personally adore them so much. and yes they are one of the popular (they were indeed the most popular for first half of the series but now its them and tanfang but mostly tanfang, not complaining because these two are my favs)
Your threesome comment they touched on it briefly in Deep Night. But it was so quick not much to the story. Love this show the comedy is Soo funny..4 guys in that small bathroom and Phum being the loving boyfriend always showing affection YES!…My heart dropped for Phum seeing what a real family looks like but I can’t wait til next week
So many cute moments between the pairings today. Chain hugging Pun was adorable, Peem really was in his tender mode in this ep and it was cute to see. Q and Toey are so freaking adorable and of course Tan and Fang are just lovely 😍

Kluen showing phum the portrait peem painted for him was lowkey petty lol but I don’t think he meant it in a bad way. that scene with him and phum kind of seemed like a closure for his character for some reason. like he admitted that he lost and was letting Phum “have” Peem. I think it was nice of him to back off.
Phum and Peem are the actual cutest😫 every scene I was screaming, crying, giggling, kicking my feet.😊they’re so domestic already. the confession scene?? Phum calling Peem saying “I miss you” and Peem blushing and giggling with Q joining in?? So to explain the first scene with Peem's friends being mad at Phum.
They are mad at Phum because Peem almost didn't get to submit his work for the gallery AGAIN because of Phum. Because submitting his work was Peem's biggest dream.

All his friends knew how much he dreamed of submitting and getting his art displayed that even Tan promised to give him a bigger bouquet of flowers than what he gave Q.
Also Phum already confessed his feelings for Peem in front of everybody being a slave wasn't their main problem with Phum by this point. They already knew he was already hitting on Peem at this point.

I would argue that qtoey is still very popular, more so than tanfang, considering winnysatang’s relative fame. if you look at engagement counts on social media phumpeem and qtoey still come on top, especially for thai fans. that’s not to say that tanfang and chainpun aren’t still well loved and the favourites of some fans (international viewers in particular) but they’re definitely not as popular.
@@caelysium oh ofc they’re still popular! but I just mean the things I’ve seen a lot of people say on different websites like MDL, Reddit, etc. Most of them are praising tanfang for their consistent storyline and phumpeem for their lovely dynamic and overall cuteness and natural intimacy. chainpun is popular by not having enough screen time and people wanting more of them. I’ve just seen a lot of people saying how they’re bored with qtoey and not really that interested in their storyline anymore. that’s all.
@@ajaiy oh fair! most of what I see come from twitter, which is where a lot of thai fans congregate since the official account and all the actors are so active on that platform. that, and views for clips on gmmtv’s youtube/tiktok-the sheer differences in engagement for certain clips is quite telling, and even though there are praises for tanfang in particular, these numbers do matter for gmmtv in terms of popularity despite criticisms of the storyline/characterisations. it makes me as an aouboom fan a bit worried since we desperately want them as main leads next year and reactions from local fans are very important but I’m so pleased that they’re getting more recognition for their roles as of late :)

phumpeem and qtoey are still definitely the most popular cps in the show, especially when you take into account pondphuwin and winnysatang’s relative fame compared to the other two-the social media engagement numbers, especially from thailand, are quite telling. tanfang are fan favourites, especially for some interfans, but they’re definitely not as “popular” from what i’ve seen on twitter in particular, which is where most fans congregate for this series

About the slave deal, I guess 🌚
For throuple’ in BL the only series I can think of is “unforgotten night” with those bodyguards, and there was only like 1 scene that hinted / showed it. Plus it was not even what I would say be a side couple.
So very far from main couple, and a fair representation.
(There could be other series but can’t think of them😅)
But it could be interesting to see it be proper represented in BL’, also feel the same with asexual like in “Wandee goodday” with the character Plakao / Kao..

Honestly its such a crime that this Show didnt give Chain and Pun a proper screen time let alone storyline. It dragged every other couple instead of giving them more story. I only watch this for the very few cute moments and the friendship craziness. The whole story is simply a mess. But its bearable with your reactions

With all your complaining last week, I was actually gonna write a lengthy comment complaining about how much I dislike Q and Toey - but I decided not to do it, because I really just wanna enjoy the fun and cuteness for this show... But since you ask... LOL
I really can't stand them. I hate that Toey is acting like toddler all the time, and that Q (and everyone else) treats him as one. Him skipping like a kid, asking permission to get an icecream. And everyone coddling him like the baby he actually is. It is all very off-putting to me. I'm also annoyed by Q, who's suppose to be this player with a lot of dating experience, but with Toey he acts less experienced than a shy teenageboy, who's barely emotionally developled yet. Granted a lot of that is probably due to, what I consider, Winny's horible acting. He still has the exact same emtional stone cold face, as he did as Win in MSP. And then once in a while he pets Toey like a kid, and put's on a big smile with zero emotions and that's suppose to make me swoon?
Sorry, I am just not buying any of it. I am not buying WinnySatang or QToey. Winny and Satang has no chemistry. They say that "acting is reacting", but with them, I don't feel like they're reacting to each others words or behavior at all (as we clearly see with Phuwin and Pond's eyecontact, they are always "connected" in their acting, responding what the other one puts out). But I feel like Winny and Satang almost look past each other. And that travels into the lack of chemistry I also think Q and Toey has. And so they just make me cringe the second they are on the screen.

I kinda knew I would probably get a little push back on my comment, because like Javi said, they seem to be a fan favorite. And that's fine. They're just not mine. But everyone is entitled to their opinion. I am sure that there are other couples I adore or shows I like, that you don't. That's just how it is. We can't all like the same. As you said, people have different preferences, nothing wrong with that.
But just to reiterate, the main reason why I don't like Q and Toey, isn't because of Winny and Satang's acting, but because I think their characters are unsufferable - with Toey acting like a toddler, which to me boarders on being icky, and with Q's background story as "a playboy" and his lack of direct actions towards Toey that doesn't ad up. And non of that has to do with their acting skill. That's primarily a writing issue.
With that being said, I had to go back and check on ep7, because I couldn't remember what happened. But I'm guessing you're referring to the scene of him getting angry (?), and yes he got that down. However looking at the episode again, I remember that my thought was "oh here we go with him being hot headed and screaming again, just like in MSP ep11 on that mountain top" - as if that is the only emotion he can really portray.
And I think that's the core point of my opinion on him/his acting. That to me, Winny is just very emotionless in his acting. He comes off as indifferent, more than anything else. If you look at the last scene of ep7 where Q picks up Toey, and Toey goes in for the kiss in the hallway, there is not any feelings being portrayed on Q's face in that moment. He just looks bored into the air, as if he's barely looking at Toey. And that is what I see from Winny like 90% of the time. It doesn't mean he doesn't show anything else, I just don't see it. Sorry.
