First game to make me look up help with a boss in a long time!
Completely unfair second phase lmao
Second phase is long dicking me WTF
@@poploki4844 ? bro u okay?
@@poploki4844 that phase is totaly fair, you have to be fast to react to his attacks
@@poploki4844 And i hope you know that team 17 did publish the game, not made it
Agreed. I'm used to having to fight against really hard bosses 20 to 60 times. Like the true final boss is Hollow Knight, Melania, Midir, Ludwig....but I always see progress. My best attempt against this jerks second phase is a little more than half his health at phase 2...after 35 tries. Hence I am watching this video.
(Update right after this post: Yeah I beat him by spamming the dash attack with Spellblade, Briar and Thorn, Second Wind, and the 2 crit resonances. He got melted in both phases. Felt kind of cheese but hey, youtube-denied-swear-word you Eviterno). Currently trying to beat the guy now. You can tell something is wrong with the boss/game when they need to nerf one cheese method (time stop Veredicto) to beat the guy, and I've seen more than once people recommend the constant dash attack as a slightly less cheesy method. I stomped through B1 and this entire game. Phase 2 should be less cheesy itself, or all the other bosses should be a bit harder, to help prepare players. This guy comes out of nowhere difficulty wise. The dialogue lines for repeat tries.. it's so boring to fight him "fairly". The amount of animations going on in phase 2 is just absurd, coupled with the amount of bugs in this game, at least on Switch. This game in general has been a hard disappointment to me compared to Blasphemous 1, in every regard. I can't wait for it to be over.
The guilt bug is becoming so expensive because of this fight!
Is this really going to work? Looks more lucky
first fight easy af just the B1 the second fight is solid :(
Most efficient way to end the first face is to use RAA , when he throw the red ords use upercut combo and air jump and use down word slash this will significantly deplete his health
Note: make sure to land it
lmao what upper cut? i missed that skill
@@Xander_t x, x , x+up and then down+x when in the air.
I used RAA for the entire fight, but I'm more of x, x, x, x simpleton myself 😅
My advise would be using every single physical dmg reduction (3 total) and two best elemental dmg reduction beads. That seems to work the best. Helps mitigate those slashes if you lose you rhythm for a sec.
Last quarter of his health phase is pretty nasty, he throws bits of the ground at you, so all those upward slashes that you could block easily earlier on now hurt you for ~50 dmg (with all phys dmg beads on). And it leaves you open for next, heavy attack usually.
Also timing is changed a little, they get tiny bit slower, just in case you've got bored with all the rest at your plate and needed more challenge ;p
Phase one I best him without single hit , phase two you can tell me RIP😢 and when I saw phase three I said to myself , let’s change the game
I soent almost 4 hrs with this guy, timing, anc check the qnimations if you want to ecade instead of a parry
