- Watch as we partake in the fun at the York County Fair for 2024, we try food including, pretzels, bacon, pulled pork nachos, Amish donuts, ice cream nachos, and a bacon wrapped grilled cheese sandwich. We also take in the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack show, The Flying Cortes Trapeze and Human Cannonball act, and the Cool Zoo Reptile Show. Lots of fun to have at the fair this year!

It was amazing just how big the train area was, they really did a good job!
You should have come to the York Fair 10 years ago when it was Fall and in September. It was wonderful back then. The 1990's were even better before they tore down the live stock barns and built the arena. The experience of walking through the barns and viewing the live stock was awesome. Horticulture Hall was filled with a lot more competing harvest from local farmers and gardeners. The biggest pumpkin competition was a sight to see as well as all the childrens painted pumpkins and lots of Fall Decor everywhere.
I hear they are voting on bringing it back to the fall time which I think would be a great idea. We always love going to the York Fair!
Good job to your boys for riding those bulls! The ice cream nachos sounds good. OUCH to the lumberjack water competition! Lavender products are so good. Atwaters in Towson, MD has an iced lavender oat latte drink which is really good. I recently bought lavender chamomile tea bags and have been brewing tea at home. I put a tbsp of heavy cream in the tea along with some ice and enjoy. It's so good, even without sweetener. Are you all planning on coming down to the MD State Fair in August?
Thank you very much. We do love the MD State Fair, we have our Disneyworld trip the first part of August and then the boys' football and school start up. We are hoping to because we went last year and had a blast!
Come join us for the largest Great American Get-Together, the Minnesota State Fair!
That would be a lot of fun, we will have to make plans for it! Got our Disneyworld trip in two weeks, so must of our planning has gone for that this summer.
If you guys get a chance to at the end of September going into the 1st weekend of October in upstate Pennsylvania in Bloomsburg pa they do a huge fair thats about as big as the york fair also thats another neat fair to check out

I feel like we missed our invite! We do hear though Minnesota Fair is suppose to be the best.
