    Thanks. Your English was very easy to understand. I admire people who can speak multiple languages.

      And I guess by multiple languages you mean English along with their native language. Many people are multilingual but don't speak English so do you admire them as well?

      @@nourshamayleh3423 Wow, talk about a knee-jerk reaction! My statement was positive and complimentary to the person who posted this video. Are you one of those people who just WANTS to be offended by any benign comment that someone expresses, even if they meant to be complimentary and to express admiration? I guess you will live the rest of your life being offended when no one means you any offense? Good luck with that attitude!

    Very nice explanation! Our vaccum had this issue and I went back to the store for warranty repair. I hope they can resolve it.

      Thank you. If you used it to clean your floors, carpets etc then you did nothing wrong. In that case they should repair or replace

      @Heidi Laros there may be latches or hidden screws. Where there is resistanse check if there is a label or a cover you can remove to reach the screws. You can upload a video here if you want. I can't help much with writing

    My rainbow vac had the burning smell - next time I used it, it died. Is it shot or am I able to fix it. Is it worth it to replace motor.

    •  Před 5 lety +2

      Jill F depends on how much a new vacuum or a new motor costs. Or how valuable your time is. It can be completely dead or it can be an easy fix. You sbould take it apart first. Later you can decide what to do

    Can you help me? My vacuum is a Dirt Devil and the part you talked about seems fine but the other piece that rotates is creating sparkles! Any idea why that happens?

    •  Před 3 lety +1

      If the motor turns erratic and the sparks are coming from the carbon brushes then the motor is burned. If the sparks are coming from the turbine blade then perhaps you have a destroyed bearing

    i got a pair of socks stuck in the vacuum cleaner, an upright Eureka, it caused a burning, electric smell. Did I permanently damage it? I took the socks out and ran it again and it seems fine. No smell.

    •  Před 3 lety

      Well if the socks werent burned then something else did. Whatever it was probably permanently damaged but that didnt kill the machine completely obviously. As you said it works now so keep using it. There is no point taking it apart at the moment. Just keep an eye on it for burning smell, weird noises, rattling etc

      @ thank u so much for your reply. I appreciate your time. I used it today. it worked perfectly. I'm nervous. it sucked a big pair of socks and obviously coudn't pick it up. At the moment it sucked up the socks, it made a sound like revving a car and i turned it off immediately. I hope it's not busted. Could it catch on fire?

    How did you remove the impeller? How did you loosen the nut? You have to hold the armature from the other end . I have been trying to do that, but haven't been successful.

    •  Před 2 lety

      It may be reverse threaded. Which means you need to turn it clockwise to loosen it. Try to loosen the bolt quickly. Hit the end of the wrench with a hammer.

    • @daljeetsinghsokhey605
      @daljeetsinghsokhey605 Před 2 lety

      @parçala behçet it's not reverse threaded. I was able to loosen it with great difficulty only half way thru by cutting a slot in the shaft for a screwdriver and now it is completely stuck and the slot is totally totally screwed up. Now I am trying to split the nut bcs I can't think of an alternative. Next, will have to find a replacement nut.

    •  Před 2 lety

      @@daljeetsinghsokhey605 Ok that is weird. I dont remember having any difficulty removing the nut. But. Just recently i had a very similar problem with a fan motor. Made a search in CZcams. Find someone who took the exact fan apart. He easily removed the nut while i almost destroyed the whole thing trying to loosen it.. Long story short, seems like we are just unlucky sometimes...

    My vacuum's rotating cylinder (where it sucks) melted on the side, not allowing it to spin. Is there a way to repair this?

    •  Před 2 lety

      Since I don't see the damage I can't say if it can be. If you upload a video of the damage I can have a look

    I’m really worried cause I think I sucked something up that’s stuck in the machine and now my vacuum is smoking, has burnt smell, and is making weird noise as if the object is still stuck in there, how do I fix it ?????

    •  Před 4 lety +1

      Maybe the fan blade is broken or the housing around it.. If you are not into this kind of things there is not much you can do. First you have to take the machine apart to see what is going on. Before that we cant know how you can fix it.

    My Henry cuts out after 2 seconds. Burning small . Open the vacuum and can see many sparks in the motor. The carbon brushes have plenty of life.....Any suggestions ?

    •  Před 2 lety

      sparks means that the motor is dead unfortunately. Sure you can keep the carbon brushes but motor needs changing. or it needs to be rewound but no one will do it.

    • @mrbeanz6451
      @mrbeanz6451 Před 2 lety

      @ I found some people resolve over sparking issue by cleaning the armature with sand paper . But mine has many lines engraved on it where the brushes would have made contact on it so likely not repairable as my machine also cuts off ...Maybe shorting because of the wire problem your mentioning. I'm not technical with electronics. I will change the motor. Do you see a problem upgrading same size motor but higher power e.g. my current one is 1000w but seen 1200w powered one ?

    My vacuume cleaner is giving burning smell and ejecting smoke..what to do..cani i fix it at home?

    •  Před 4 lety +1

      If you have the right tools and patience you can fix it of course. If you dont want to disassemble it now then turn the cleaner on and listen to the motor. If the motor is spinning without hesitation then it is probably not a fault with the motor. If the motor spins erratic as if the electricity is coming ang going away then it is probably a motor problem. In any case you should open the machine. Let the motor run outside. If it is creating a lot of sparks then the motor is dead.

    • @nayabarshad6532
      @nayabarshad6532 Před 4 lety

      No it is giving burning smell..smoke and weird sounds like something has stucked in it or may be these soundscare of sparking..is it possible that after sometime it may get fixed..after getting cooled?? Iam very afraid of it..

    •  Před 4 lety

      @@nayabarshad6532 I dontn think time will fix it. You should disassemble it if you can.
