With a Metro GoPass, students at participating schools can ride for free. Metro offers students at participating K-12 schools and community colleges a GoPass TAP card for unlimited rides on Metro bus and rail, AVTA (beginning September 2023) City of Commerce, Culver CityBus, Foothill Transit, Glendale Beeline, GTrans, LA County Shuttles, LADOT Dash, Long Beach Transit, Montebello Bus, Norwalk Transit, Pasadena Transit, Santa Monica Big Blue Bus and Torrance Transit, now through June 30, 2024. Very good publicity fir getting families and younger people to begin to change their minds and consider LA Metro as a truly viable means of convenient transit. Maybe not for everywhere yet, but for a lit more places than in the past. LA Metro is growing to continually better serve the region.
