He's the best wrestler in the world right now. It's not even close. All of his answers are answers a world champion would give. Such a big fan of his.
I do hope that before Brock Lesnar decides to retire, he has a marquee match against Gunther, preferably at Wrestlemania. There are very few people that could physically stand toe to toe with Lesnar, Gunther being one of them. Seeing them stare at each other in the Royal Rumble match this year, people want this match to happen. If I could quote Big E for a moment, this match would be "big meaty men slapping meat."
Gunther is the best IC champ ever, IMHO. They are booking him very well, the way they should. It has done nothing but elevate the prestige of the IC title, so when someone does best him, it's really going to mean something, unlike when they treated it like a toy that exchanged hands every couple of months.
He's definitely up there and could be the greatest of all time if he's not already. I think Brock should challenge him for that belt at WM40 to elevate it. Have Brock cut a promo he wants the workhorse title because people called him lazy for 20 years, with Gunther going over. When he finally loses it, he should be protected and lose it to Sheamus in a triple threat or a ladder match. In the early 1990's the difference between the WWE Title and IC Title was marginal. If the WWE Champion was rated a 99 in a video game, the IC title would've been a 94-95. You had Warrior the IC Champion beat Hogan the world champion. You had Davey go over Bret at SummerSlam 1992 in the main event. You had HBK vs Goldust in 1995 and it was a competitive feud on an equal playing field. Gunther can do this again with the IC Title. If he holds it until past WM40, that's at least 20 months. Hell of a reign.

I want Brock vs Gunther more than any other match in all of wrestling.

While I think this match could be reserved for WM40 because it's money, Brock could challenge him at Payback, claiming he wants the workhorse title because he's tired of everyone calling him lazy. This would be 6 days before Gunther's set to break the record. A match with Brock elevates Gunther and the IC Title.

i would love cody rhodes as wwe cham and a feud with Gunther. That would makes lot of sense, maybe the 2 best wrestlers of the company. Best face vs best heel

Gunther HAS to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 40 for the World Heavyweight Title. That visual during the Royal Rumble was foreshadowing. And Gunther must be protected until then. After breaking the record, when it's time to lose the IC Title he should lose it to Sheamus in a triple threat or a ladder match. The other alternative is to have Priest vs. Balor for the WHC, and have Brock vs. Gunther for the IC Title. Yes I know Brock doesn't compete for a midcard title, but what would it do to elevate that belt if he cut a promo saying he wanted Gunther and wanted the workhorse title because he's tired of everybody calling him lazy and selfish. (Brock did compete for the IC Title once in 2002 vs RVD.) But putting over Gunther in a 20 minute banger for the WHC is the ultimate way for Brock to go out.
I know folks want Gunther vs Brock for a world title but the match holds more weight if it’s for the ic title … Gunther longest reigning champ vs Brock who never competed for the us or ic just makes sense as a marquee match
