One of the best metal voices. The decade had many great singers in rock and metal. I should know as I was a teenager in that decade, and listened to lots of rock & metal bands thought. Michael Kiske was one of the greats, but he was one of quite a few..
Reading these comments I feel old, as I remember Helloween emerging in 1985. But, believe it or not, they weren't that popular in the UK at the time. I saw them Kiske period, when they toured the UK in 1988 and at Donington M O.R. The British music press always compared Kiske to Bruce and accused, and dismissed them, as being Iron Maiden clones!! So they never had the respect back then. My how things change!!
